i really thought this was going to be a day where i would be feeling great. the NFL Draft is today, the Yankees won yesterday, the Knicks got out of the first round for the first time in a decade and Manchester United was up 2-0 at halftime. then, i found some more fucking ants in the kitchen and it all turned to shit. my back is killing me. mom is out walking by herself, so my anxiety is raging a bit.
here are your two videos for this day of National Poetry Month:
the New York Knicks won last night at Cleveland, 106-95. they won the series, 4-1. they will play the Miami Heat in the next round.
here are your highlights from the NBA playoffs last night:
here are your highlights from the NHL playoffs last night:
AEW Dynamite was very good last night, as was AEW All Access.
The Masked Singer was crazy last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Young Sheldon and NJPW.
i will probably watch some of the NFL Draft tonight. the New Orleans Saints pick late in the first round. i'm definitely interested to see where the Ohio State guys go tonight.
the New York Rangers play a pivotal Game 5 tonight at New Jersey. the series is tied 2-2.
the New York Yankees start a series tonight down in Texas at the Rangers. hopefully, they will find a way to win tonight.
so, i was pretty happy when Manchester United was up 2-0 at Tottenham at halftime. even when Tottenham made it 2-1, i figured United would score a third goal and see it out. Bruno hit the fucking crossbar and that was about as close as United came to that third goal. ETH's substitutions didn't click today and honestly, they played a role in the 2-2 draw. what truly pisses me off about the two points dropped today, they knew if they won, the top 4 was basically a given for them. now, that is not the case.
i am going to try to get this blog done in the morning tomorrow. mom has a doctor's appointment in the afternoon and Orkin is coming in the early evening.
until tomorrow kids...

so, mom said the landscaper was going to be here between 7 and 8 this morning and that she wanted me to be up. now, i made some spaghetti, chicken and alfredo sauce last night, so i knew i would have a shit load of dishes to do before going to bed. add in the usual 400 emails i have since i only have time to check my emails twice a day. so, i finally fell asleep around 5 this morning. i was up a little after 7. the landscaper got here sometime around 10. to say i am running on fumes today would be an understatement. another landscaping crew came by today and talked mom into getting the trees trimmed up. they got most of the dead out of them. i feel sorry for the birds. they won't have the same protection from the wind anymore.
i totally forgot that the USWNT was playing today. they lost a friendly at Spain, 2-0. that's the first time the USA has lost consecutive games in years. hopefully the ladies understand that the European teams are closing the gap rather quickly.
The Voice was good last night. the blinds are over with and the battles start tonight.
Monday Night Raw was excellent last night.
Avenue 5 was hilarious last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be The Voice, NXT, Deadliest Catch and Tales From The Territories.
the Yankees play Game 1 of their series against Cleveland tonight.

the rest of the MLB playoffs started today as well. the Phillies won Game 1 against Atlanta. and Seattle is currently leading Houston.
i need to get the trash picked up and dinner started, so that's all for me kids.
i should be on here tomorrow after i get the grocery shopping done.

so, yesterday went pretty good. i dropped off mom at the dentist. once she went in, i drove over to the bank to make my deposit. it took longer than usual, mostly because of school buses. i was pulling back in at the dentist when mom called. so, that was some good timing. she wanted her frozen Coke after that. so, i got back home in time to watch the last 20 minutes or so of the Manchester United game.
Manchester United won yesterday at Leicester, 1-0. holy shit, three wins in a row and two clean sheets in a row. well, well, well... the true test will be on Sunday when United play at home against Arsenal.
i did watch some college football last night. that was fun.
NXT UK was great yesterday. i'm going to be interested to see what NXT Europe looks like when it debuts in 2023.
Big Brother was good last night. Kyle was sent to the jury. Michael is the new HOH.
Vice News Tonight had two great episodes this week.
NJPW was excellent last night.
Little Demon was fucking hilarious last night.

the Yankees play tonight down at that dump in Tampa. they called up their top shortstop prospect yesterday. it's about fucking time.
mom has physical therapy today. i haven't sat in a waiting room and wrote poems in months. so, i get to get back on the horse today.
i'll be on here in the morning tomorrow, before the WWE Clash at the Castle event starts in Cardiff, Wales.
and long before Ohio State plays tomorrow night.
today is the beginning of Labor Day weekend. i hope everyone has a great, long weekend.

we had a huge line of thunderstorms hit here last night at 8. of course, right as i was starting to record the shows from last night, while watching wrestling and the New Orleans Saints. thankfully, the storms were moving pretty fast, so i didn't miss much.
the New Orleans Saints started off awful last night. at one point, they were down 20-3 to the Chargers. the Saints got a touchdown right before halftime and used that momentum to eventually win the game, 30-27 in OT. they are back in first place and are now on their bye week.
Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night.
Axios was good last night.
Big Brother was good last night. i was curious how Nicole won the HOH. she got lucky as hell with that.
The Third Day was awesome last night. the series finale is next week.
We Are Who We Are was very good last night.
Fringe Nation was a look at the militia movement in this country last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight.
i'll probably watch the NFL game tonight between the Bills and Titans. other than that, this might be a night to get some writing done.
i did get another box of cards put in order today. it was the big box of football cards. i also put my hockey cards in order. i'm waiting on the money from my first sale to show up. once that happens, the ball will be rolling on all of this.
i need to pick up the trash here and next door, so that's all for me kids.
i will be on here tomorrow after i get the grocery shopping done.

if it wasn't one thing, it was another last night. way too many emails that i needed to open and my computer was running like shit. i was so fucking tired, i nearly fell asleep at the computer. i'm sure i would have ended up on the floor by the time the morning came around. it doesn't really matter, i only got 4 fucking hours of sleep anyway. and i guess i get to finish up the cleaning today. joy.
here is your video for this day of National Poetry Month:
Smackdown and 205 Live were both pretty good last night.
Real Time with Bill Maher was excellent last night.
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be At Home with Farm Aid, Saturday Night Live and ROH.
i'm not really sure what i'm going to do today. i'd love to get some more sleep after i get the shit i need to do around the house done. it's one of those dreary ass days where the sun doesn't exist anymore.
i'll probably be on here early tomorrow, before my sister gets down here.
i hope everyone has a great Saturday. hopefully the weather is better wherever you happen to be.
until tomorrow...
