a white hot rage...
i pride myself on not being late for shit. so, when i showed up for my physical therapy session yesterday 25 minutes early, i figured it was a good thing. let's just say, my life would have been better if i would have been only 10 minutes early. so, i had all my paperwork already filled out. i had my driver's license and my insurance card all ready to go. and i had my credit card ready to pay the $60 for the session. there was this woman at the other window making an appointment. i paid no attention to her. i got my receipts and sat down in the waiting room. the woman that was at the other window started to walk out and then stopped and looked at me and said i thought was your car. how is the landscaping coming along? they really took all of that down. good luck, good seeing you... you know i try my fucking best to be positive and do the right thing. i really, really want to enjoy life. but there are moments constantly that will remind me, i don't get to live that life. that woman that was talking to me was the woman who molested me as a child. i'm not sure any of you can imagine just how fucking pissed i was while sitting there stewing in my hate for the next 25 fucking minutes before my appointment. i tried deep breaths, i tried counting to a million, i tried to picture the perfect way to die... nothing calmed me down. i'm not sure if any of the physical therapists picked up on it or not. by the time i went back for my appointment, i really didn't fucking care. the physical therapist i saw was pretty good. he believes it's a muscle problem in my back. the way i explained it to him and the way he told me what he thought, i tend to believe his diagnosis. basically i have a back muscle that contracted and never bothered to expand back out. so, he worked on my back for about 20 minutes or so. and then he ran electricity through it for 15 minutes. he did show me a couple stretches to do that should help my middle back. so far, they have. i see him again next Monday. hopefully, i won't be as fucking pissed as i was yesterday. on the ride home, it seemed like every fucking song was something that reminded me of some fucking situation in my life. the temptation to get the Highlander up to 100 and see how quickly death would arrive was so fucking tempting. i figure one of these nights i'm going to have to write and just pour it all out again on the page. that's part of the reason why i fear writer's block. if that ever cripples me, i don't have much choice with what will come next.
i woke up this morning and my back was sore, but it was more like the good sore. after i get this done, i'm going to have a nice long icing session, that's for sure.
the New York Yankees were absolutely fucking awful last night, from the manager down to the fucking players. they lost to Boston 16-1. and honestly, it didn't feel like it was that close. thank fucking god the Saints were on so i could watch something else. the Yankees are playing for their season tonight, so it should be interesting to see what happens. if they lose, i know one thing for sure, my face is going to look completely different.
the New Orleans Saints defeated Washington last night, 43-19. Drew Brees set the record for the most passing yards in NFL history. the Saints have a bye week coming this week. with the injuries they had last night, it's good timing. Drew now has 399 touchdown passes. they tried so damn hard for him to get to 400 last night. oh well, it will happen in the next game.
Monday Night Raw was really good last night.
The Voice was good last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Smackdown, The Jim Jefferies Show, Mayans M.C., The Voice and the season finale of Mr Inbetween.
the landscaping is going pretty good. i really like the stone mom picked out for this project. i think it's going to look really good when they get done.
i can't believe how fucking hot it is for the 9th day of October. i guess we really are down to two seasons anymore, hot and cold.
i need to go ice my back down and then do the trash here and next door.
that's all for me kids.

and here comes the pain...
i woke up this morning with my back aching. it must know what is coming this afternoon. i haven't done physical therapy in 10 years. i haven't been to the place i am going to today. i'll be interested to see how my anxiety does today.
the New York Rangers lost again yesterday at Carolina, 8-5. it seemed like every damn time the Rangers got a lead they would turn around and blow it. the defense was fucking putrid yesterday.
The Deuce was really good last night.
the season finale of Ballers was pretty good last night.
Last Week Tonight was fucking hilarious as usual.
America to Me was excellent last night.
The Family Business: Trump and Taxes was a look into the behind the scenes of the New York Times article. i think i know why so many dumb asses love Trump. they want to be rich and never pay taxes either. the sad thing is i guarantee the whole damn family is still cheating the system and are proud of it.
Shameless was great last night.
Kidding was dark as ever last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be The Voice. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for some of the evening.
the New York Yankees play Game 3 of the ALDS tonight at home against Boston. i really hope the Yankees win tonight and put Boston on the brink of elimination.
the New Orleans Saints play tonight at home against Washington. Drew Brees needs 201 yards tonight to pass Peyton Manning for the most passing yards in NFL history. i hope he does it in a victory.
my physical therapy today is at 4 PM. i'm pretty sure i know where i am going. i'm interested to see what i will be doing. i figure it will be similar to my mother's physical therapy.
i hope everyone had a great weekend. best of luck to everyone enjoying an extended weekend today.

response from The Dope Fiend Daily...
i heard back from Scott at The Dope Fiend Daily on my poetry submission from a couple days ago. my poems "to live on the scraps", "a thousand yards away" and "an old soul begging to escape" have been accepted for publication.
apparently, 5 hours of sleep is all i really need...
i know the plan was to get some sleep at some point yesterday. so, when i was still up at 3 in the morning, i only could laugh. i went to bed and woke up 5 hours later, almost feeling refreshed. well, i've got shit to do today, so that's all i'm going to get.
yesterday was one of those days where i love being a sports fan, although i am certain it will send me to an early grave.
Manchester United was down 2-0 yesterday and i really wasn't happy. sadly, i wasn't surprised either. and then around the 70th minute, it all changed. United started to finally get some results for their reckless abandon they were playing with. Mata scored. 6 minutes later Martial scored. and then holy shit, in the 90 minute, Alexis scored. well, well, well, i didn't see a 3-2 win coming at halftime, that's for sure.
Ohio State played exactly how i feared they would yesterday. thankfully, it didn't last all game. they allowed Indiana to hang around, but eventually buried them in the 4th quarter, winning 49-26.
the New York Rangers lost last night at Buffalo, 3-1. yet another game where they played well enough to win. but, they ran into a hot goalie and more shitty officiating. joy. the Rangers play this afternoon at Carolina.
the New York Yankees broke out the long ball last night and defeated Boston, 6-2. Aaron Judge hit a mammoth shot in the first and Gary Sanchez hit 2 home runs, including one that went 479 feet. he's the first Yankee catcher to hit 2 home runs in a playoff game since Yogi Berra in 1956. the Yankees are off today and play Game 3 in the Bronx on Monday night. they know now if they just win the home games, they will advance.
Saturday Night Live was pretty funny last night.
ROH was really good last night.

since the New Orleans Saints play tomorrow night, today will mostly be a laundry day for me.
i suppose i should wear some clean clothes to my physical therapy appointment tomorrow.
i will probably be on here early tomorrow.
i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully, your Sunday will be even better.

it's just a series of naps anymore...
i have watched so much damn wrestling in the last 12 hours, i almost am tired of it. i even surprised myself that i got up as early as i did this morning considering i didn't go to sleep until almost 2 in the morning. when i woke up a little over 3 hours later, i just laughed. more on that later.
the New York Yankees lost game 1 last night in Boston, 5-4. they got down 5-0 early and nearly came all the way back. if they want to win this series, they need to win tonight. i don't think they can beat Boston 3 games in a row.
VICE was really good last night.
NJPW was 4 hours long last night. it was really, really good. i would love to get out to California one of these days to see them live. it probably won't happen, but i can dream.
Real Time with Bill Maher was pretty good last night.
enjoy some music:

i did watch the WWE Super Show Down this morning from Australia. it was better than i was expecting.
Manchester United plays this afternoon. chances are, i'm going to catch up on some sleep.
Ohio State plays at home later this afternoon against Indiana. i'm really hoping they don't have a let down after last week.
the New York Rangers play tonight at Buffalo. i'd love to see them get their first win of the season tonight.
i'll be flipping between that and the Yankees game tonight i suppose. i'm sure i'll probably watch some other college football games as well.
other than that, i guess i could use some sleep.
i hope everyone has a great Saturday. call if you need bail money.

it never fails, just when you needed a dry day...
the landscaper started working on the property today. when i went to the grocery store, he was getting ready to start taking down the blocks, bricks, etc. he got all the plants out this morning. i was standing in line at the grocery to check out when i noticed it was fucking pouring in the parking lot. i started to wonder if mom got the windows closed before it started to rain. (nope) i got fucking soaked in the parking lot putting the groceries into the Highlander. it never fucking fails.
when i got back home, it did look like the landscaper had got all or at least most of the demo done. i can't wait to see what it looks like when they start putting stuff in. mom said that no water actually got into the house, so that's good. i got all the groceries and kept it under $100.
the New York Rangers lost last night to Nashville, 3-2. i liked what i saw for the most part from the team. they do look like they will be playing hard and fast. and i honestly think, a little better officiating last night and maybe the Rangers come away with something from the game.
Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.
The Big Bang Theory was pretty funny last night.
Young Sheldon was funny last night.
Will & Grace was hilarious last night.
enjoy some music:

the New York Yankees start the ALDS tonight in Boston. i'd love to see them win.
the kicker to everything today is the television in my room is now fucking up. the picture goes black every 2 to 3 seconds and then comes backs on. i've only had the damn thing for like 3 years. and people wonder why i hate technology.
safe travels to the muse this holiday weekend. i hope you have a great one.
i have no damn clue when i'll be on here tomorrow. the WWE has an event in Australia that starts at 5 in the morning. if i get up to watch that, i'll try to be on here before Manchester United plays. if that doesn't happen, i might try to squeeze in the window before Ohio State plays. if that doesn't happen, i'll try to be on here before Saturday Night Live comes on. it's going to be another one of those insomnia kicks my ass again nights, i can feel it.
i hope everyone has a great weekend.

poetry update
so, i decided to put my insomnia to work. just sent out 10 poems, 5 each to The Dope Fiend Daily and Synchronized Chaos. when i hear back from these places, i will pass along the verdicts.

another dreary day, with sprinkles...
my Wednesday nights are turning into these marathon insomnia battles. i'm not sure if anyone is winning. but, i know not falling asleep until 5:30 in the morning is eventually going to send me to an early grave. not that that is something i am fucking dreading, mind you.
the New York Yankees got off to a hot start last night (thank you Aaron Judge) and defeated Oakland 7-2 to win the American League wild card. the Yankees will now play Boston for the first time in the playoffs since 2004. i would love to see them eliminate the Red Sox.
NXT was really good last night.
205 Live was good last night.
the Mae Young Classic was fucking spectacular last night.
Total Divas was pretty good last night.
Lucha Underground was good last night.
Mr. Mercedes was a great mind fuck last night.
American Horror Story was really good last night. i can't wait to see where the fuck this is going now.

the New York Rangers play their home opener tonight against Nashville. i don't know what to expect from the Rangers this season. i do think they will be a hard working team, but i'm not exactly counting on a ton of victories. i really hope they prove me wrong.
i will probably flip between that, some baseball and maybe some football as well (Colts vs. Patriots).
i took mom to talk to the pharmacist at the grocery today. basically, her old employer hasn't taken her off of her old insurance. she hasn't paid for it since she started on Medicare. so, the pharmacist warned us that don't be surprised if they come back and seek money for their mistake. at least all the pills now will be billed to Medicare.
the meeting with the landscaper went well last night. i'm really looking forward to see what he's going to do with the yard. it should look completely different once it's done.
i will probably be on here tomorrow after a trip to the grocery store.
that's all for me kids.

Total Divas was pretty good last night.
Lucha Underground was good last night.
Mr. Mercedes was a great mind fuck last night.
American Horror Story was really good last night. i can't wait to see where the fuck this is going now.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon and Will & Grace.
i did listen to episode 206 of Notsam Wrestling today. you can find that by going here:
http://notsam.com/wrestlingpodcast/2018/10/4/notsam-wrestling-206-mlws-court-bauer
the New York Rangers play their home opener tonight against Nashville. i don't know what to expect from the Rangers this season. i do think they will be a hard working team, but i'm not exactly counting on a ton of victories. i really hope they prove me wrong.
i will probably flip between that, some baseball and maybe some football as well (Colts vs. Patriots).
i took mom to talk to the pharmacist at the grocery today. basically, her old employer hasn't taken her off of her old insurance. she hasn't paid for it since she started on Medicare. so, the pharmacist warned us that don't be surprised if they come back and seek money for their mistake. at least all the pills now will be billed to Medicare.
the meeting with the landscaper went well last night. i'm really looking forward to see what he's going to do with the yard. it should look completely different once it's done.
i will probably be on here tomorrow after a trip to the grocery store.
that's all for me kids.

well, at least it's not cancer
when my doctor mentioned tumor yesterday, i wasn't sure how to react. i'm sure part of me was giddy with the thought of death. but, part of me is actually (stupidly) hoping to enjoy a little of life before i die. thankfully, it's not the kind of tumor that involves cancer. what is going on with my stomach is a Lipoma. it's usually a lump of fatty tissue that develops right under the skin. my doctor told me to not think about it unless it starts to cause me pain. that usually comes about if the tissue starts to grow around the nerves. as for my left leg, they don't believe any new blood clots or anything is forming. as for my bad back, i have a physical therapy session scheduled for Monday. all my blood test levels came back good. my A1C was down enough that i could get off of one pill. but of course, my blood pressure was up, so now i'm on a pill for that.
i got home in time to watch most of the second half of Manchester United vs. Valencia. after watching 20 minutes of it, i almost wished they would have sent me to get x-rays done instead. United is fucking woeful at the moment. just unwatchable. a 0-0 draw wasn't what i was hoping to see yesterday.
Smackdown was pretty good last night.
The Jim Jefferies Show was hilarious last night.
The Voice was good last night.
Mayans M.C. was excellent last night.
Mr Inbetween was really good last night. hard to imagine the season finale is already coming up next week.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Lucha Underground, Total Divas, Mr. Mercedes and American Horror Story. i'll watch 205 Live, NXT and the Mae Young Classic sometime tonight on WWE Network.
the New York Yankees play Oakland tonight at home in the American League wild card game. i hope the game tonight doesn't go 13 innings like the Cubs vs. Rockies game did last night.
i did do a little poetry work last night. i know where the next 10 poems are going. i will hopefully get those out before the weekend comes.
the NHL regular season starts tonight. i might watch a little of the games. the New York Rangers season starts tomorrow night.
since it rained yesterday, the landscaper didn't come over last night. he had some other jobs to do and the rain caused a delay. he's coming over tonight i guess to show us what he is planning to do with the yard.
i need to go to the grocery store to pick up my prescriptions, so that is all for me today kids.
i have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

tossing and turning all night long
i'm not exactly sure why i was tossing and turning all night. pain? anxiety? i might have got 45 minutes of sleep at a time at best. so, it was a series of naps i guess. to top it all off, the doctor's office called this morning and moved my appointment back a hour. at first i was a little pissy, but it could be a blessing in disguise as now i will miss most of Manchester United's game in the Champions League today. hopefully, that will be a good thing.
The Voice last night was pretty good.
Monday Night Raw was really good last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Smackdown, The Jim Jefferies Show, Mayans M.C., Mr Inbetween, The Voice and Student Athlete.
i might watch some of the National League wild card game tonight between Chicago and Colorado.
i know whenever i get back from the doctor's appointment, i'll need to pick up the trash. and i believe the landscaper is coming tonight to go over what he's planning to use for the landscape here. i know mom wants me to be there for that. joy.
i have no damn clue when i'll be on here tomorrow.

sometimes, you have to admit failure...
i got into a fascinating conversation with the muse last night and we started talking about politics. many of you know i hate the politics in this country. but, she said something that kind of hit me. if i really want to see things change in this country, i'm not exactly going about it in a way that can do anything. so, i decided to fuck it and i registered to vote. now, i'll be interested to see if the county actually accepts it. if they do, i'm planning on doing an absentee ballot as i know i would probably kill a motherfucker or two if i actually went to vote. i live in a very, very Republican part of this county. the level of ignorance in this town is fucking amazing. it doesn't shock me that i have lived here since 1997 and i rarely talk to anyone. so, as i told my mother last night, the goal will be to fuck up the system from within.
the muse and i have been trading songs back and forth today. i think we could probably talk for days on end about music and never get bored of each other. hell, maybe one of these days that will actually happen.
the New York Yankees lost yesterday at Boston, 10-2. it was basically a spring training game. the Yankees will host Oakland Wednesday night in the wild card game. the winner will play in the division series against Boston. it's finally time for the playoffs.
the New Orleans Saints won 33-18 against the New York Giants yesterday. it was pretty close until Alvin Kamara took over the game in the second half. the Saints play next week at home against Washington.
The Deuce was really good last night.
Ballers was good last night. that season finale is next week.
the season finale of Insecure was excellent last night.
Last Week Tonight was hilarious as usual.
the 100th episode of Shameless was really good last night.
Kidding was dark and excellent once again last night.
America to Me was really, really good last night. it certainly brought back some memories of when i was the only white kid on the basketball team in junior high.
enjoy some music:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and The Voice. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.
i have a doctor's appointment tomorrow afternoon. i'm hoping to be done with that by the time Manchester United plays in the Champions League tomorrow.
i'm not really looking forward to the doctor's appointment. i know they need to check my numbers for my Type 2 Diabetes and my cholesterol, plus i need a flu shot and my prescriptions refilled. and then there's the laundry list of needing a scan on my left leg to see how much of it is dead. i need a back x-ray to see what the fuck is going on in the middle of my back. if that is as bad as my lower back, i'm fucked. and i'd love to find out what this is on the right side of my stomach. it's internal, so i'm guessing it's nothing good.
and then at some point this week i need to go to the bank, get a haircut, and i need to take mom to the grocery store to bitch out the pharmacist for fucking up her billing. on top of all that, the landscaper is going to start that project this Wednesday i believe.
there's never a dull fucking moment when you're crazy. never forget that kids.
i'm hoping to talk the muse into a plan to take over the world one day. if she says yes, this world will never be the same.
i hope everyone had a great weekend. hard to fucking believe it's already October.
