so, it looks like it is going to be nearly 30 degrees warmer here in a couple of days. i know damn well all of this ice and snow will be melted by then. i swear, the weather in Ohio is meant to make sure everyone just stays sick. the guy that does our driveway did a pretty good job yesterday. and he charged mom less than he said he was going to, which was nice as well. mom called more pills in to Kroger, so i'm waiting to make sure all those are done before i go out and get them. hell, i might as well just wait until i do the grocery shopping tomorrow.
i did watch that Ric Flair documentary on Peacock last night. it was very good.
Monday Night Raw was good last night.
at the World Juniors yesterday, the USA defeated Latvia, 5-2.
i did listen to episode 427 of Notsam Wrestling last night. you can hear that by going here:
we got 2.3 inches of rain last night. i was in so much pain, i thought i was having a fucking stroke. thankfully, between the alcohol and the rain finally ending, i was able to get some sleep. of course, some sleep to me is a little over 4 hours.
i did wake up in time to watch Manchester United this morning. when United got down 1-0 i was not surprised. United seems to start off every game slow as fuck. thankfully, Lukaku evened the game at 1-1 before halftime. Jesse Lingard scored in the second half to give United the win 2-1. now i'm sure most Chelsea fans are going to bitch about their goal in the second half that was called offside (it wasn't). given the number of times United has been fucked over this season by shitty calls, all i can do is laugh at them.
i did watch most of the Gold medal game last night between Russia and Germany in hockey at the Winter Olympics. when Russia scored that short handed goal to send the game to OT last night, i knew they weren't going to lose. Germany played their hearts out, but when you take the lead with 3 minutes to go in the game, you have to win that in regulation. of course, the penalty Germany took in OT didn't help them either. Russia scored on the power play to win the game (4-3) and the Gold medal.
ROH was excellent last night.
Notes From the Field was great last night. i highly recommend that everyone on earth watch this.
Celebrity Big Brother was sort of a review of the last 3 weeks of the show. i really like Ross to win it all tonight in the finale, but anyone is truly possible. as long as Omarosa doesn't win, i'm cool with it.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Celebrity Big Brother, Our Cartoon President, Homeland, The Chi, Here and Now, Divorce, Crashing and Last Week Tonight.
i'll be watching WWE Elimination Chamber for most of the evening on WWE Network.
i saw this morning that the New York Rangers traded Rick Nash to Boston for 3 players and 2 draft picks, including Boston's first round pick in this year's draft. that kind of shocked me. not that Nash got traded, but just how much Boston gave up to get him. it's kind of ironic that the Rangers traded him on the day they are retiring Jean Ratelle's number 19. Jean got traded to Boston from New York as well. retiring his number is long overdue. the Rangers play Detroit tonight. i'm hoping i will get to see some of the pregame ceremonies.
after United played this morning, i had to go to Meijer to get some shit. i figured if i wanted to do my laundry, i actually need some detergent to do so. so, i got plenty of that as they were having a sale. also, i couldn't turn down a Norman Bates Psycho Funko Pop! or a Deadpool coffee mug, that was also on sale. i figure tomorrow is going to be laundry day. joy.
i'll probably be on here tomorrow between loads. you do with that whatever your dirty mind desires.
i hope everyone had a good Saturday. hopefully your Sunday will be even better.

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
we got a couple of inches of snow overnight, along with some wind. the firefighter that lives on our street comes by and cleans off the driveways and sidewalks. he usually does that in the morning. the wind didn't stop until this afternoon, when something called the sun came out. so, before that thing called the sun went back down, i shoveled the driveway and got the trash out. it felt good to get some cold air into the lungs and work up a little bit of a sweat. and thankfully, i didn't slip and fall on my ass.
but, mom and i decided we didn't want to fuck around with the ice and cold tonight, so we're not going to the Dayton Flyers basketball game. i imagine if it wasn't on tv, we would be going though.
i was interested to see how Manchester United would play today. when they got up 2-0 on Newcastle, i was thinking things were going to be good. silly me. when a great goal from Wayne Rooney (his second of the game) put them up 3-2, i was thinking they would win. silly me. sure, a 3-3 draw on the road is better than a loss to yet another team fighting relegation, but it certainly doesn't feel good. this is quickly turning into another season of what could have been.
Monday Night Raw was decent last night up until the main event. i enjoyed Kalisto winning the US title and the ongoing war between Kevin Owens and Dean Ambrose. but, they buried Roman Reigns once again by showing that he couldn't beat Kevin Owens as easily as the average fan thinks he could. by the end of the match, Roman was getting booed and Kevin was getting cheers. now, if they are planning on putting the title on KO, i'm all for it, but i highly doubt that's happening. and then to have Brock Lesnar come out and destroy everyone, including the champion, it was just too fucking obvious to make much sense. what could have been a really good show ends up feeling mediocre because of a shitty main event. thankfully, the Stone Cold Podcast with my favorite wrestler of all-time, Ric Flair, was really good. i love those old stories of him and Dusty Rhodes. that was on the WWE Network.
the New York Rangers did something last night they hadn't done all season. they came from behind in the third period and actually won for a change. a HUGE 2-1 victory over Boston that will hopefully get the ball rolling in the right direction once again.
enjoy some music kids:
and now some of this and that:
if that really is the final picture of David Bowie, that might make me happy for years to come. as one person wrote today, his death was like his life, a work of art.
instead of watching the State of the Union tonight i will be watching the Dayton Flyers take on Davidson. this is a must win game for Dayton after that last loss to a shitty LaSalle team. plus, since they are at home, they really need to win.
i ordered myself a webcam last night off of Amazon.com. after cashing in some codes and whatnot, i got a $100 camera for a little more than $6. it should be here around my birthday. hopefully it works well enough that i can start doing more videos and maybe even get my lazy ass on Skype.
it is supposed to get down to the single digits tonight, so i'm very interested to see how the furnace runs tonight.
that's all for me today. i hope this finds everyone warm and realizing they still have time to send me a birthday gift.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
