at least it stopped raining long enough to...

thankfully, the rain that was supposed to come overnight never did. it was much colder today, but at least i was able to get everything i needed to do done. the grocery store got a little pricey today as i had to get mom some Zyrtec. that put me well over $100. i did finally get to go to the bank and deposit the two checks i had. i also filled up the Highlander today. always good when you can get gas for .87 cents a gallon.

The Voice was good last night. i wasn't shocked that Todd won. he certainly was though.

the season finale of Dark Side of the Ring last night was excellent. i cried for most of it as Owen Hart was one my favorites.

WWE Backstage was pretty good last night.

Deadliest Catch was really good last night.

The Masked Singer last night was the best of performances from this season. the season finale is tonight.

mom had me order Pizza Hut last night. i find it funny that she got all that damn meat from Omaha Steaks and now she can't decide what she wants. you know, funny in the why the fuck did you waste that money kind of way.

i didn't get my new hummingbird feeder yet. i figure with all this damn rain, not reason to rush to get one just yet.

where the hell did this month go?

first off, a big thank you to everyone who has listened to and sent me their thoughts on my latest SoundCloud recording, "splashing in an ocean". i really do appreciate it.

i did write 2 poems yesterday. i typed them up and i really, really liked them. this hasn't been that productive of a month for me writing. but, i wasn't exactly shooting for 100 poems either. i wanted to take it easy this month, and i think i have accomplished that.

the New York Yankees won yesterday against the Royals, 6-3. they got a good, solid start from J.A. Happ and got enough offense to take 3 out of 4 in the series. they are off tonight and start a little 2 game series at home against Baltimore tomorrow.

Big Brother was pretty good last night.

the season finale of Total Bellas was good last night.

Power was excellent last night.

Sharp Objects was fucking crazy last night. next week's episode looks even crazier.

Succession was excellent last night. the season finale next week looks amazing.

i'll be on here tomorrow after mom has her procedure for her back. i'm really hoping the injection goes well and works immediately. this will be the first time she's having it done in the office and not a hospital. i'm hoping it's a little easier process than before.

one of those days...

it feels like arthritis has taken a huge chunk of me today. walking around the grocery store, i felt like i was 42 going on 75. and then you realize you can't reach the shit that you used to be able to reach and no one looks like they are interested in helping someone that looks like either a criminal or a homeless fuck. good times.

i've had a poem stuck in my head for most of the day. the internet was down for a bit before i started this blog. so, i took advantage of that time and wrote it down on paper. i haven't typed it up yet as i think i have a few more up there waiting to bleed out.

the New York Rangers lost last night up in Montreal 3-1. they traded Michael Grabner last night to the Devils and are in the process of trading Rick Nash somewhere before the trade deadline on Monday. hell, i think just about every name except The King is up for a possible trade. as for the game, they simply didn't generate enough until the 3rd period to ever have a chance. if they could have played the whole game like that period, they might have won. they play again tonight at home against Minnesota.

the Dayton Flyers play tonight at Rhode Island. Rhode Island is one win away from winning the A10 regular season outright. i'm going to just guess and think they will want to get that win tonight. and even though Dayton is on a two game winning streak, i don't give them much of a chance on making it three tonight.

i did enjoy watching team Canada lose in men's hockey this morning at the Winter Olympics. i honestly can't believe Germany is in the Gold medal game. they will play Russia for the Gold. Canada will take on Czech Republic for the Bronze.

i did watch a little of the New York Yankees this afternoon when i got home from the grocery store. they defeated Detroit 3-1 in their first spring training game of the season. hopefully that's the first victory of many this year.

i'm not sure when i'll be on here tomorrow. all the rain we were supposed to get today is coming tomorrow i guess. i know i need to get my laundry done at some point this weekend. and lord knows i'll probably have to run out and get something for mom.
