 i was in the ice cream aisle at the grocery store today and i took a step towards my shopping cart and immediately felt my back tell me to fuck off. thankfully, i was close enough where i could just put my back in one of the freezers for a few seconds, hoping to relieve the pain. that is one thing i hate about having a bad back. just one fucking wrong step and it is hours of pure fucking misery. 

the New York Yankees won last night at home against Oakland, 10-5.

 i really had high hopes for the New York Rangers last night. the sad fact is they simply don't have the experience to lean on like the Penguins do. and last night was the clearest fucking example that will beats skill every fucking time. the Rangers lost last night, 7-2. Game 5 is Wednesday night at MSG. i hope it isn't the last game of the season for the boys. i'm not going to be shocked when i am watching a handshake line and musing about what could have been this season.

an inch of rain...

 we got an inch of rain on Mother's Day. i thought mom held up pretty good but by the time the afternoon came around, you could tell her arthritis was really getting to her. and her and my sister just rub each other the wrong way anymore, so that was getting to her as well. add another frost warning last night and this weather isn't doing either of us any fucking favors.

the New York Yankees won yesterday over the Nationals, 3-2. two straight days of walk offs. they finished the homestand 7-2. now, they start a road trip tomorrow night in that dump down in Tampa.
