so, i did watch most of the opening ceremony at the Olympics today. that was epic to say the least. of course, long as fuck as well. and i can't wait to see how many people got sick because of the rain. i think they said it was the first time there was rain during the opening ceremony in 50 or 60 years.
one thing i have noticed is i don't hate this day as much as i used to when i was younger. of course, i am on a weed gummy right now, so maybe that is why i don't mind this July 26th. for those in the dark, my father would have been 78 years old today. thank god he never saw one day into his 70's.
i did watch Big Brother last night. Matt was evicted. i am really hoping this house is going to be cutthroat this season. Chelsie is the new HOH.
NJPW was good last night.
Don't Forget the Lyrics was very good last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown and AEW Rampage. i'll watch NXT Level Up tonight on Peacock.
the Yankees start a series tonight at Boston. i don't think i will watch much of it. maybe they will do better with me not watching.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. i guess it depends on when i wake up and what events are on when.
of course, this will be my first time betting on the Olympics, so that should be fun.
i hope everyone has a good weekend.
until tomorrow kids...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
let me sum up the last 13 years of my life, especially when it comes to matters with the opposite sex. i will meet someone, normally online, that takes an interest in me. we'll chat and get to know each other. eventually, the talk gets dirty and some sex (real or imaginative) happens. usually within 24 hours of that happening, the issue of money will be the next conversation. sometimes it's i'm stuck in a foreign country and need money to come back home. or it's i'm taking care of a sick relative that needs surgery or my favorite one... i'm in nursing school and just need the money to help me pay for books. most of these women end up being in Africa or sometimes Europe. now, keep in mind that very early on in the getting to know you phase, i mention that i'm a poet and i am poor. for some fucking reason, that part never gets through. so, now we come to yesterday. i have been talking to this woman online that told me she lived right down the street from me but is over in Germany taking care of sick grandparents. she's supposed to be coming home in a few days and we had talked about meeting up. of course, there was some dirty talk involved. she sent me a picture of her tits and i naturally checked google to see if they were on the internet already. they weren't, which made me think, holy shit, i might have an actual connection with someone. i had a little writing session today and i wrote 6 poems, mostly ones involving this woman in one way or another. so, when i got online this afternoon, the first message from her was she lost her credit card and now needs money to come home. you have got to be shitting me. at this point, i may never talk to another person online ever again. there is a part of me that hopes one day this amazing looking woman shows up at my door and says hello, do you remember... but the old fuck in me that hates the world is currently taking hope out and beating the shit out of it. so, if anyone ever wants to know why i'm single, there you have it. and i have friends that want me to try online dating. why do so many fucking people hate me?
i was not surprised that Golden State won last night. OKC choked once again. so, it now sets up Cleveland vs. Golden State for the second year in a row. well, if LeBron is going to end the Cleveland drought, he's going to have to earn it.
i didn't watch much of the hockey game last night. the only player on Pittsburgh that i will be happy for if they win the cup will be Carl Hagelin. i will always fondly remember his years with the Rangers. the rest of them could all die and i wouldn't give a shit.
the New York Yankees didn't do much last night, losing 4-2. they didn't score until the 9th inning. they play again tonight up in Toronto.
i did enjoy Monday Night Raw last night, mostly for AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows beating the living shit out of John Cena. it was glorious. after Raw, WWE 24 on WWE Network had a show about Seth Rollins return from his knee injury. it was excellent.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Deadliest Catch and Maya & Marty.
out of the 6 poems i wrote today, i think a couple of them are pretty good. i want to stay more productive than i normally am in the summer with my writing. hopefully, that actually happens.
it's another hot one here today. i actually saw a hummingbird at one of the feeders today. hopefully it enjoyed what i have out for them.
the NCAA Men's College Lacrosse final certainly didn't disappoint yesterday. North Carolina won in OT. they became the first school to ever win the men's and women's in the same year.
i need to go next door and get the recyclables picked up, so that's all for me today kids.
i hope everyone had a great holiday. if not, i certainly understand.

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
so i was out in the yard today doing some work, feeding the birds, etc. when i started to feel my left hip tighten up. i thought, oh great. i got back inside and started to stretch it out the best i could. with each rotation of my left hip, i could feel a crack, something like when you crack your knuckles on your fingers. my right hip doesn't make this sound. i figure, arthritis is setting up in my left hip. so a bad left hip and bone spurs in my right ankle. i guess my body is telling me if i would like to stand i will do so in pain. good times.
as i was trying to fall asleep last night, i had a poem pop in my head. i know it's a good sign when i can make myself laugh at a poem even before i write it down. so after writing the poem and watching a little porn, it was off to bed for almost 4 hours of sleep. i knew that 7 i got the night before was a mirage.
Manchester United got the lead early in the second half yesterday and then Swansea's coach decided to change tactics and United was caught sleeping or simply enjoying their arrogance. 2 goals in 5 minutes by Swansea and that was the difference of the game. that's three straight losses to that team. unacceptable. and today it looks like 3 or 4 or 5 players are leaving and who the fuck knows is coming in. i will be so damn happy when this transfer window is fucking closed.
thankfully, the New York Yankees lifted my spirits with an absolute ass whipping of the Braves, 20-6. that completes the sweep and the first half of this road trip. hopefully they will keep the runs coming tonight in Boston.
the Sunday night shows were excellent. Big Brother had some more creative and sloppy editing by CBS. The Strain was outstanding last night. sadly, the climax of the show was coming right as the guy was throwing the no-hitter out in Los Angeles. thank god for the DVR. Ray Donovan was excellent last night, as was Masters of Sex. i did watch a bit of the VMA's last night, mostly just to feel fucking old. i do listen to some of the music of today. but some of it is just complete shit. but, i will never name names as i like to think of myself as someone trying to "create" and the last thing i want is someone to come and shit on my parade. and sadly, the beat to the new Miley Cyrus song is actually really fucking good. i can't believe i just typed that.
some music kids, i'll be over here listening to Slayer:
and now, some of this and that:
tonight is going to be flipping between some baseball and Monday Night Raw. hopefully both are good.
that's all for me today. this week is supposed to be the warmest week of the summer. that figures, all the kids are back in school. almost makes me miss the classes i had in the old building with no air conditioning. almost.
i hope everyone had a great weekend.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
