since tomorrow is supposed to be rainy, muggy and windy as fuck, i took today as the last day of calm. it was nice to just relax a bit and watch some soccer and unwind. of course, that only lasted for a few hours. mom had a nurse out here this afternoon. thankfully, her birthday gifts did arrive this morning. she loved the lamp and night light i got her. and we finally have some tomatoes showing up on the back porch. of course, with hail in the forecast tomorrow, i'm going to have to figure out where we can move the plants to save them. good times.

i have no clue what time i will be on here tomorrow. the storms are supposed to start right after sunrise. so, i doubt i will get a good night of sleep. joy.
