so i tried something different last night...

 i decided to take a shower before i went to bed last night, hoping it would help me sleep better. nope. i got up after roughly 4 hours of sleep and have been up since. i suppose i will get the sleep i need when i die.

the Euro 2020 games yesterday were crazy. Spain defeated Croatia, 5-3 in extra time. Switzerland eliminated France on penalty kicks, 3-3 (5-4).  i can't fucking believe France is out. today, England plays Germany and Sweden takes on Ukraine.

at the Copa America last night, Argentina defeated Bolivia, 4-1. Uruguay beat Paraguay, 1-0. the quarterfinals are now set. Peru plays Paraguay. Brazil takes on Chile. Uruguay plays Colombia. Argentina plays Ecuador. 

the Yankees lost to the Angels last night, 5-3. nothing like your manager telling everyone your season is on the line and you go out and lay an egg.

i will probably watch some of the NBA playoffs tonight as well.

since i have no trash to pickup today next door (i think the house is just about sold now) after the Euro 2020 games are over, i'll do that around here.
