i got 13 out of 16 of the sweet sixteen correct, so i am pretty happy about that.

it was fun while it lasted...
i was hoping the Dayton Flyers were going to get off to a great start yesterday against Arizona. silly me. Dayton fell down by 17 yet again. they had a nice 10-0 run to end the half down only 7. they even got it down to 3 in the second half. but, you can't fall down that much to really good teams and continually pull the rabbit out of your ass and win. sadly, Dayton hasn't learned that lesson yet. Arizona won yesterday, 78-68.

welcome to the weekend...
we got 1.5 inches of rain last night. i don't think i have seen the sun in a couple of days. good times.
the New York Rangers won last night in Carolina, 2-1.

the calm before the storm...
i have been relaxing for most of the day. i watched all of the new WWE series on Peacock, WWE Evil. 8 episodes of the biggest villains. other than the fact that it was put together by John Cena, it was pretty good.

where caution meets panic and the lines are blurred...
i'm really hoping the shot works for my mother. she doesn't get another one until June.
Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night.
The Voice was good last night. the battle rounds have finally started.
The Plot Against America was excellent last night.

and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Dark Side of the Ring. i believe they are showing part 1 and 2 of the Chris Benoit story tonight. that should be must watch television for anyone that is a pro wrestling fan.
mom already told me she might send me out for food tonight. she wanted McDonald's after her injection today.
Obi Toppin was named the AP Player of the Year today and Anthony Grant was named the AP Coach of the Year.

so, apparently gay men like me
here's a quick look at my day. i did the grocery shopping this afternoon and got pretty much everything we needed and kept it under $100. i was thrilled. i got back home and my mom was talking to her doctor's assistant. she finally decided to check the fucking paperwork she got on Monday today. so, mom needs to see a cardiologist before she has her hip replacement. something about her EKG i guess. i really wish they would have done this the day after they got the paperwork as then maybe mom would have an appointment before the one she has now, the day before her fucking surgery. and, they decided to finally fill the prescription mom should have got three fucking days ago. sure enough, i had to drive back to the grocery store to get that. thank god i got fucking gas today. to say i'm a bit pissy right now would be an understatement.
at least the physical therapist that came today approved mom doing her recovery from home. that's the good thing of living in a ranch house... no steps. i think the only thing i have to do is move mom's bed around so it will be easier for her to get into it after the hip replacement. neither one of us know if her surgery is going to get moved now because of the cardiologist appointment. good times.
Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.
the season finale of Baskets was fucking great. i can't wait for season 3.
i did watch plenty of college basketball last night. it amazes me just how much i still fucking hate Xavier.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be VICE, NJPW and Real Time with Bill Maher.
i'll probably watch plenty of college basketball again tonight. if the games aren't as close as last night's games were, i might actually get some writing done.
late tonight, at least late for my old ass, i'll be watching the USA take on Honduras in World Cup Qualifying. this is a MUST WIN game for the USA. if they don't win, there's a more than likely chance they won't even qualify for 2018 in Russia. that would be a colossal embarrassment.
i hope everyone has a great weekend. i will be one here probably early tomorrow, hopefully still drunk from a USA victory.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
