may we never forget...

before i get into all the happenings of yesterday, a moment of silence for those who lost their lives on 9/11 twenty one years ago today. may we never forget...

Ohio State won yesterday, defeating Arkansas St., 45-12. next up will be a night game next Saturday at home against Toledo.

the New York Yankees won yesterday against Tampa Bay, 10-3. that clinches the season series against Tampa, something that could come into play if the teams end up tied at the end of the regular season. hopefully, that won't happen. the Yankees will go for the series win this afternoon.

i did watch plenty of college football games yesterday.

i also watched plenty of MLS games yesterday.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, Last Week Tonight, VICE, City on a Hill and Power Book III: Raising Kanan.

the New Orleans Saints play at Atlanta today. hopefully, the Saints will win.

i'm sure i will watch plenty of the NFL games today.

i should be on here tomorrow after i get back home from my doctor's appointment.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday will be even better.

so much for leaving the furnace off...

so, after a few days of really nice weather, it got cold again. we're under a freeze warning for tonight. thankfully, we haven't put out any flowers yet.

mom wanted McDonald's for breakfast this morning. i must have picked the right time to go as there was no line at the Brookville one. of course the trade off for that was the frozen Coke mom wanted wasn't available.

Monday Night Raw was really good last night.

American Song Contest was good last night.

the series finale of Better Things was excellent last night. i will miss this show.

here are your highlights from the NBA playoffs last night:

here are your 3 videos for this day of National Poetry Month:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be NXT, Young Rock, Name That Tune, Mayans and Deadliest Catch.

the Yankees start a series tonight at home against Baltimore. hopefully, they will win.

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Carolina. they are 4 points behind Carolina for the division title. so, i would love if the Rangers would beat them tonight just to put a little seed of doubt into their heads.

i should be on here tomorrow after i get all the grocery shopping done.

until then kids...

welcome to the weekend...

we must have had a power surge or something in the few hours i was asleep last night/this morning. my mother's clock in her room was flashing 12, the light in the living room was on, the clock on the stove was fucked up, but everything else was normal. i woke up after about 4 1/2 hours of sleep and was like what the fuck... nothing seemed messed up or anything, so who the fuck knows...

i watched that John Prine special last night on YouTube. it was about as perfect as possible...

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.

the season finale of Total Bellas was very good last night. the show comes back in the fall.

NXT UK was pretty good last night.

Shelter in Place with Shane Smith was good last night.

No Mercy No Malice with Professor Scott Galloway was excellent last night. the show comes back in the fall.

Holey Moley was hilarious last night.

Don't was fucking stupid as hell last night. loved it.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown and Real Time with Bill Maher. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.

i made some ribeye steaks last night for dinner. it was the first time i had used the broiler on the new oven. i was pleasantly shocked i didn't fuck that up. those were probably the best steaks i have ever cooked.

i have no clue what i'm doing for dinner tonight. i think my mother wants liver and i know for sure i fucking don't. so yeah...

i got most of my 3rd package from Amazon today. sadly, i'm still waiting on the nice binder to put the sheets that hold baseball cards in. oh well, it's supposed to be here on Tuesday.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. the weather is supposed to be pretty good here. i'm hoping it will be nice enough that i can turn the AC off and open up the house a bit.

i'm hoping to get some poems written this weekend and put the final touches on my mother's birthday gifts. she turns __ on Tuesday.

that's all for me kids.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

keep up the good fight.
