so, last night i fell asleep thinking of the girlfriend i had when i was 23 years old. and trying to wrap my head around that was 25 fucking years ago. i'm guessing that crept into my mind because i was listening to Prince songs last night as i fell asleep.
i did make it to the bank and Rite Aid this morning. at least the sun was out.
Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both pretty good last night.
AEW Rampage was good last night.
Real Time with Bill Maher was excellent last night.
here are your NBA highlights from last night:
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be AEW Collision.
the New York Rangers play this afternoon at Pittsburgh.
i'm sure i will watch plenty of college basketball today and tonight.
i will most likely be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays at home in the FA Cup against Liverpool. i'm prepared to be in a pissed off mood, but i am really hoping i will be pleasantly shocked tomorrow.
i hope everyone has a great Saturday.
until tomorrow kids...

the Yankees last night were up 8-4 in the 9th. they ended up losing the game to the Angels, 11-8. i have the feeling that this game will either be the death of this season or will absolutely force the front office to wake the fuck up, fire the manager and start making some trades. last night was the definition of my new favorite line... it was like a punch to the dick.
i'll probably watch the game this afternoon but i have zero hope that the Yankees will climb out of the grave and find a way to win.
AEW was really good last night.
here are your highlights from the NBA playoffs last night:
here are your highlights from Game 2 of the Stanley Cup final:
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, When Nature Calls, Holey Moley and Desus & Mero. i'll watch NXT UK sometime today on Peacock.
i will probably watch some of the NBA playoffs tonight as well.
the USWNT plays Mexico tonight in a friendly. i'll probably watch some of that tonight.
i need to go to the bank to deposit my check. hopefully, i'll do that once i get done with this.
i should be on here tomorrow before the Euro 2020 games start back up.
the Yankee game today just got postponed. i guess i now get to be angry for another 24 hours. joy.

July 1st means so many things... happy birthday to Canada, and to most sports fans, welcome to the silly season. where athletes will become overpaid snobs, where Manchester United will be linked with every good player on the planet, where the New York Rangers will spend too much money on someone too old, and where the Sacramento Kings will never get anyone they really wanted.
i certainly wasn't expecting the New York Yankees to do much last night. i figured getting in at 6 AM, they would still be asleep for the game. thankfully, i was wrong. the Yankees fell behind early but woke up in time to score a ton of runs, enough that the Astros brought in an outfielder to pitch the 9th. the Yankees won 13-4 last night. after the game, i heard the news that the team was calling up Clint Frazier. this was the prospect they got in the Andrew Miller trade last season. i will be VERY interested to see him play.
NJPW was excellent last night. i could definitely see why Kenny Omega vs. Okada II broke the internet a couple weeks ago. i can't wait for the LIVE NJPW event tonight on AXS TV. hopefully it will be amazing and finally give the WWE some competition in this country.
Real Time with Bill Maher was hilarious as always last night. sadly, the show is taking July off.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be NJPW and ROH.
we had 1.3 inches of rain last night. thankfully, i had enough rum that i managed to get a few hours of sleep.
USA men's national team will play a warm up against Ghana today. that should be a good game to get them ready for the Gold Cup.
some of the NBA contracts last night were incredibly ridiculous. and i couldn't fucking believe Indiana traded Paul George for just 2 players and nothing else. that's someone who is trying to get fired there.
i guess the New York Rangers will have a new backup goalie soon after noon. i suppose Ondrej Pavelec will be able to backup The King. i'm also expecting them to sign a couple forwards and probably an overpriced defenseman today.
that's all for me kids. i hope everyone has a great Saturday. call if you need bail money.

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
i had a hard time falling asleep last night. so, i figured what a great time to catch up on the shows i had on the DVR. here's the problem i have with watching good television; there's no fucking way i can fall asleep after something good. i play it over in my head, think about what i could write different or better (ha ha). so, thank you, Tyrant. after catching up on the last 2 episodes i was up at 4 in the morning thinking about how i would write the rest of the season. and of course, i was up 3 hours later. and since today is the start of the silly season, there will be no naps today.
speaking of the silly season, when i saw that Phil Kessel was traded to the Penguins today, i think i might have shit my pants. that's the last thing i wanted to see a team in the Rangers division do, get really better. the Rangers signed a few guys, mostly depth guys, today. i'm waiting on all the restricted free agents to get done, hopefully soon. the biggest news of the day was that Glen Sather was stepping down from being the GM of the Rangers. i believe somewhere i could hear angels singing. not because of the job Slats did, but because Jeff Gorton is the new GM of the Rangers. he's been wanted by numerous teams over the last few years and the Rangers always said no. this is the guy who really built the Boston Bruins when they won their championship, so i, like every other Rangers fan in the world, are hoping he builds a winner in New York. Slats will still be in the organization as the president. i figure he and the Rangers owner love each other, so he'll have a job until he dies.
please enjoy a quick music break:
the New York Yankees lost again last night, 2-1. once again, the offense has gone missing. and they are wasting too much decent pitching at the moment. they play again tonight. hopefully they avoid the sweep.
team USA beat Germany last night 2-0 to advance to the finals of the Women's World Cup. the USA did get lucky with some calls, but they certainly outplayed Germany for most of the game. hopefully they can win it all on Sunday.
as i mentioned earlier, Tyrant was excellent last night. i've caught up on the episodes i missed. this season has a nice slow burn to it. Deadliest Catch last night was excellent as well. it's fascinating to watch what happens on a boat when the shit hits the fan.
as for tonight, since it is Wednesday, it's pro wrestling night. on the DVR tonight will be ROH and Lucha Underground. i will be watching NXT tonight, mostly for Finn Balor and Samoa Joe vs. Kevin Owens and Rhyno. that should be spectacular. also on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother.
here's some funny shit i saw today that really made me laugh:
i've spent most of today doing my laundry. i didn't realize i had so many black clothes.
that's really all for me today. i've got clothes to fold and websites to check as i try to stay updated on the free agency madness.
