this almost feels like a battle of cat and mouse. not a damn thing in the mail today i was actually hoping for. this is doing wonders for my stress level.
grocery shopping went ok today. thankfully, i kept it under $200. after i got done with that, i had to take mom to get her new glasses. i am really hoping that now that she can see better, she will have a bit more confidence about everything.

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
i got to bed around 5 AM this morning. i was up and out of bed at 9 AM. my mother pretty much fell asleep at the same time i did. she got out of bed today at 4 PM. i would have to slip into a coma to ever sleep that long.
i went to the bank today. for some fucking reason, the bank i normally go to was closed. so, i had to drive a town over to go to that bank. that took way longer than it should have. after that, i drove back to Trotwood to go to Big Lots. i had a coupon to use. of course, they didn't have any baseball, football or basketball cards. i found the Jim Beam coffee i like. i also got a new mat for our front door. a couple of toys (Batman, Star Wars) and a better storage box for the cards. i was hoping it would come up to $40 so i could use the coupon i had. it was $33. fuck.
night 2 of WrestleMania was good last night. not as good as night 1, but i think it was better than what i was expecting. i'm hoping that Monday Night Raw tonight is fucking crazy.
the New York Rangers lost last night to the Flyers, 4-3 in a shootout. i'm happy they were able to at least get a fucking point out of the game.
Billions was good last night. the season finale is next week.
Super Pumped: The Battle for UBER was good last night. that season finale is next week as well.
Shining Vale was hilarious last night.
Last Week Tonight was BRILLIANT as usual.

we did have some rain here this morning. that's probably why i was up at 9 to be honest. any chance of me sleeping peacefully in the rain died with my youth.
i hope everyone had a great weekend.
i have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow.
until then kids...

so, i got my booster shot today. much like the other two shots i got, no side effects. while i was at Rite Aid, i picked a box of football cards and a box of baseball cards. i paid $10 for them. thanks to a Trevor Lawrence gold card in the football box, i found around $45 worth of cards in the boxes. that made me happy.
for some reason, my mother didn't go to sleep last night. that meant i didn't sleep worth a shit last night. she's been napping most of today. i basically ordered her to go to sleep because i don't need her half awake trying to do something in the house and then fall and break a hip.
i did watch a good portion of the Colts vs. Jets last night. i thought the Jets were going to get the back door cover there late. it's that kind of shit why i stopped gambling years ago.
Young Sheldon was good last night.
United States of Al was pretty funny last night.
B Positive was very funny last night.
Cake was weird as always last night.
Desus & Mero was fucking great last night.

the New York Rangers play tonight at Edmonton. this should be a true test to see how good the Rangers actually are this season.
i will most likely be on here tomorrow after the Manchester derby. i hope i'll be in a good mood.
now, if i am not on after that game, it will be after Ohio State plays at Nebraska.
i highly urge everyone to check these out before Bandcamp Friday ends...
so, they called this morning to see if my mother and i could come earlier to get our second vaccine shots. so, a little after noon, we went to Rite Aid to get the second shot. like the first one, i didn't feel anything. i've been drinking plenty of fluids since i got the second shot. i have heard plenty of horror stories from people about the second one. i'm betting i wake up tomorrow and feel fine. i did find some baseball cards at Rite Aid today. i got 2 Fairfield boxes. i think they had around $20 worth of cards in them. i also went through the Leaf cards i got a few months ago to see what the prices are on them. imagine my surprise when i had a few worth over $20 now. that made me happy.
the poet of the day for this day of National Poetry Month is G. Emil Reutter.
