thankfully, we didn't lose power like some people around here did. but, we are definitely in the summer cycle again. heat up during the day and then a chance for some oh fuck storms at night. good times.
the Yankees lost the first game of the doubleheader yesterday, 11-4. they won the second game, 6-2. hopefully, they will win the series this afternoon.
WWE Money in the Bank yesterday was great.
AEW Collision was very good last night.
i did catch some of the highlights from the MLS last night.
Brandi Carlile: In the Canyon Haze - Live from Laurel Canyon was excellent last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be The Righteous Gemstones.
the USMNT takes on Trinidad & Tobago tonight. they need to win to make sure they win their group in the Gold Cup.
i'm sure i might watch some MLS and NASCAR today as well.
we're under a thunderstorm watch for the rest of the day. joy.
i'm not sure when i will be on here tomorrow.
i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday will be even better.
until tomorrow kids...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
i wanted to make sure i got everything done today so i could be home and watch the USA vs. England in the Women's World Cup semi-finals. i took a shower, made a deposit at the bank and took mom out shopping at the drug store. she wanted McDonald's for lunch for some reason. thankfully, we got back home in time for the game.
the USA defeated England 2-1 today to advance to the Women's World Cup finals. this game had a little bit of everything. goals, injuries, red card, plenty of yellow cards, a bullshit penalty call, a brilliant save on that penalty and then a masterclass on wasting time by the USA. and Alex Morgan became the first woman to score a goal on her birthday in the World Cup. and then, she did a brilliant, savage bit of trolling with her celebration.
Monday Night Raw was so much better last night and i know exactly why... Paul Heyman. i'm really hoping they simply hand him the keys and allow his creativity to fucking flow. you could tell last night how his vision is slowly creeping into the picture, finally.
the season premiere of Divorce last night was pretty good.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Smackdown, Deadliest Catch, Big Brother and Songland. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.
the New York Yankees start a quick 2 game series tonight at the Mets. hopefully, they don't have a letdown from the games over in London.
we've had some storms in the area today. my back certainly feels like more is on the way. perfect, i still have the trash to pick up.
i do plan on watching some of the Gold Cup semi-final tonight between Haiti and Mexico.
i'll probably be on here tomorrow after the Sweden vs. Netherlands game at the Women's World Cup.
i'm off to go pick up the trash.
until tomorrow kids...

and your whatever the fuck i wanted you to see video of the day:
always love when i walk outside to get the morning paper and the air is so damn thick that i start to sweat just walking down the driveway. and when the humidity is as high as the temperature, something has to break soon. i think there are some thunderstorms to the south of us. i'll gladly accept the pain from the rain for a break from this fucking heat.
the New York Yankees won last night, 11-1 over Boston. that puts the Yankees back in a first place tie in the division. the Yankees also set the team record for most home runs before the All-Star break. the Yankees start a series at home with Atlanta tonight.
Big Brother was pretty good last night.
Power was excellent last night. i can't wait to see what happens this season.
The Affair was very good last night.
I'm Dying Up Here was great last night. the season finale next week looks like it will be great.
Succession was good last night.
Last Week Tonight was hilarious as usual.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.
i wasn't shocked that LeBron chose to go to the Lakers last night. as a Sacramento Kings fan, i know the next 4 years are going to fucking suck.
i'm really hoping i sent the last piece i needed to submit to Gofundme to clear me from Debbie's bogus claims of me stealing money from her. the receipt from Western Union that i sent over was pretty clear and straightforward. part of me almost wishes they realize she's been lying this entire time and closes the donations off completely. that would be a great lesson in karma.
i had a lovely chat with the beautiful black woman i'm falling madly in love with in Rome today. she's a bit freaky like i am, so i do love a dirty conversation with her while she's riding the bus.
here is your World Cup update:
Brazil defeated Mexico 2-0 this morning. Mexico played well for a half. Brazil outclassed them by a mile in the second half. and of course, Mexico had an excuse for the loss, the referee. dos a cero sounds familiar right? Belgium defeated Japan 3-2 at the death. and i mean in the last 6 seconds of the game. Japan had a 2-0 lead and Belgium stormed back and scored the winner right before they were going to go to play another 30 minutes. i felt so bad for Japan. but, if you blow a lead like that, you don't deserve to win. i can't wait for Brazil vs. Belgium on Friday. that should be a classic. tomorrow, Sweden plays Switzerland and England takes on Columbia. i'll miss part of the England game as i'll be at a doctor's appointment.
that's all for me kids. i hope everyone had a great weekend.
