a windy day in hell

i just love when the wind is so damn bad it blows shit right out of the grocery cart. and people wonder why i for years said that i was simply a court jester to god.

at least it now looks like the weekend snow storm is going to be south of us. that's good.

i sent out 15 poems today; 5 each to Big Hammer, Easy Street and Synchronized Chaos. when i hear back from these places, i will pass along the verdicts.

after mailing the poems to Big Hammer, i did the grocery shopping. it felt like it took forever, but that was most likely just my arthritis fucking with me. at least the sun was out today. i got everything on the list and kept it all under $110. that's pretty damn good considering mom wanted me to get a $25 gift card so we would get extra fuel points.

Smackdown was excellent last night. i am really enjoying The Miz destroying John Cena these past few weeks. of course, Cena will get the last laugh, because he always does. everything is trending to what should be an absolutely amazing WrestleMania.

205 Live last night was really good, mostly because of Austin Aries.

there was only one performance on The Voice last night that i really enjoyed.

the New York Rangers won last night in Florida 5-2. it was The King's 404th NHL win, putting him in 10th place by himself on the wins list. the best road team in the league plays again tomorrow at Carolina.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight. i'll watch NXT sometime tonight on WWE Network.

the tickets mom sold yesterday made it to Washington, D.C. this afternoon. so, she should be getting her check for selling them in the next week or so. i know that's a ton of stress off of her now. she couldn't believe she actually did what i said she did and bought two different sets of tickets. of course, i'm the asshole in all this for telling her about it.

i will be on here sometime tomorrow after Manchester United plays in the Europa League. they are already bitching about the playing surface in Russia, so i have serious concerns about United in this game.

i think i'm going to curl up into bed now and listen to the wind howl.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...

what a weird perverse night

i was trying to watch as much of the hockey game as i could last night, but there was so much other BRILLIANT shit on last night... and thankfully the DVR got all of it.

first off, a little poetry news... i heard back from Big Hammer on my recent poetry submission. Dave really dug what i sent but he's taking a break from publishing at the moment. he wants me to send him some work in 6 months. i will gladly do that. you can find issue #18 of Big Hammer here:
http://outlawlibrary.blogspot.com/2015/09/big-hammer-18-2015.html

NXT Takeover: Respect last night was very good. i think i would have made a few different decisions but i understand why HHH went the way he did with the tag team tournament. and the main event did not disappoint, although i think i enjoyed the Brooklyn match better. that being said, 2 of the 5 greatest women's wrestling matches i have ever seen are Sasha Banks vs. Bayley. enjoy some highlights:

Table for 3 with Dean Ambrose, Cesaro and Kevin Owens did not disappoint either. it had me laughing for the entire 30 minutes:

American Horror Story: Hotel was fucking crazy, bloody, freaky and fucking great last night. a little too much male ass for my taste but the dildo drilled into the ass was certainly a scene i will never be able to erase from my brain. if this is any indication how this season is going to be... it will be the best season of the series EVER.

You're The Worst was great last night. kind of repeated the same ending as last week but with another subtle twist. i can't wait to see where this goes.

the New York Rangers got off to a great start last night. they blitzed Chicago for 3 goals in the first period. i guess they were pissed because the ceremony for the Stanley Cup and raising the banner went longer than expected. those 3 goals held up as the Rangers won 3-2. Chicago nearly tied the game late but the refs and the replay assholes made the right call. i was certainly waiting for the FUCK THE RANGERS button to be pushed in Toronto. maybe this will be a different season. i will be in Columbus tomorrow night to see the Rangers take on the Blue Jackets. here's the highlights from last night:

time for some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

there really isn't anything that needs to go on the DVR tonight. i'll be flipping between the NFL game and some hockey games. i'm interested in seeing the top 2 rookies make their debuts tonight. since they are talking them up like it's the second coming of the great one, i figure i might as well take a look. i have no players going tonight in fantasy football so i'm not sure how much of the game i will watch.

i listened to the Sam Roberts Wrestling Podcast this morning. if you would like to hear Dolph Ziggler stick one to John Cena, i highly recommend it.
you can find the podcast on iTunes, Stitcher, notsam.com and on the right hand side of this blog.

i will be on here early tomorrow as we will have to leave in the afternoon to get up to Columbus for the game. so expect a quickie tomorrow. i know some of you with your minds in the gutter don't mind that.

that's all for me kids. i hope everyone is doing better than normal.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...

My Morning Jacket -  Rocket Man
Warren Haynes - Angel Band/Soulshine (Live)

what could be more fun than being dead tired while standing in line at the bank

i think i finally fell asleep around 4 in the morning. by 8 i was up and ready to get cracking on the poems. i got some positive feedback from my latest YouTube video, so i think i was running on that juice.

i sent out 27 poems today, 5 each to Carcinogenic Poetry, Big Hammer and Nerve Cowboy. 3 each to Napalm and Novocain, Pyrokinection, Dead Snakes and Mad Swirl. when i hear back from those places, i'll pass along the verdicts. i held 9 poems back for 2 other places that i'm waiting to send to.

when i walked into the bank today, the line was nearly out to the outside lobby. i was behind these two black girls, i'm saying girls because they looked like they were maybe out of high school. now, the problem i have with attractive black women in public wearing next to nothing is i will look at them and think of which web cam girl they remind me of. and since the one i was standing behind had shorts on that nearly covered all of her ass, i had about 100 names running through my head. all this while listening to the two black women behind me talk about sororities at the university of Cincinnati. there probably should be a study done on my brain some day.

i had mixed results with my fantasy football. i have a decent lead in one, a deficit i should be able to come back from in another and let's just say i had my ass handed to me in the other one. i'm down 61 points and my opponent still has Aaron Rodgers to play tonight. i have 3 guys going and i know i have no fucking chance. i did much better in my picks though, if Green Bay wins tonight, i'll have 11 wins for the week.

the VICE special on the prison system last night was good. sadly, i already know most of the shit they talked about given the number of people i have known that have gone to prison. but, if you are ignorant or don't think the system is broken, i urge you to watch it. here's a clip from it:

The Strain was excellent last night. it set up a holy shit i can't wait for the season finale next week. the season finale of Ray Donovan was great. that had an oh shit ending as well. for that matter, so did the season finale of Masters of Sex. Last Week Tonight was excellent as always:

time for some music kids:

now some of this and that:
i believe i may have found the most amazing looking woman on the planet. that video will haunt my damn dreams until the day i die.

the New York Yankees won yesterday 6-1. they took 3 out of 4 against the White Sox. that takes the magic number down to 3 to clinch a playoff spot. they start a series tonight against Boston. it would be nice to clinch a spot against those fuckers.

the New Orleans Saints did pretty much what i thought they would do yesterday. they kept it close but ultimately lost 27-22. they next play against Dallas. Drew Brees hopes to play in the game. i won't get my hopes up.

tonight is the usual clusterfuck on the DVR. since i will be flipping between Monday Night Raw, Monday Night Football, the baseball game and the New York Rangers vs. Philadelphia, recording on the DVR will be Gotham, The Voice, The Big Bang Theory and Life in Pieces. good thing i don't give two shits about sleep.

sometime tonight i'll vacuum the house (probably before the shows start) and make some dinner. i was hoping to make some soup but all we have is cream of whatever and nothing like i was hoping to have. so i'm probably going with gourmet grilled cheese tonight. mom left money for me but i doubt i go out to get anything.

that's all for me today kids. i need to get going so i can maybe get a cat nap as well tonight. i hope everyone had a great weekend. no one called, so i doubt anyone needed bail money. that's a shame.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...

Prince & Sheena Easton - U Got the Look
ZZ Top - Hot, Blue and Righteous
Cowboy Junkies - Lost My Driving Wheel (Live)
Little Big Town - Boondocks
Bryan Adams & Tina Turner - It's Only Love
