not as bad or good for that matter, as expected...

 so, i barely, and i mean, fucking barely, got mom to her appointment this morning on time. i dread anytime she has an appointment in the morning as my mother isn't fully functional before fucking noon. so, when i pulled into the parking lot at 10:14 for a 10:15 appointment, my adrenaline was pumping. so, it wasn't until the doctor came in that anyone mentioned her MRI results. and of course, that someone was me. the first thing the doctor wants to do is surgery. now, i know why he wants that, as that is how he makes the most money. mom has no interest in back surgery. so, he decided that she could continue her injections. they are going to try another spot to focus on to see if they do better for her. that will be in a few weeks. then we have a follow up visit a month after that. i'm really hoping the injection works this time. if not, i think back surgery might be the only hope mom will have given how severe her spinal stenosis is now.

i did make it to the bank after we got home. and i got gas as well. $53 to fill up. and that was with 50 cents off a gallon. fuck me runnin'.

the New York Yankees won last night in Baltimore, 6-2. hopefully, they will win again tonight. they are on a win pace right now that is insane, considering they are on the same pace the 1998 Yankees were on. that is the best baseball team i have ever seen play.

the NHL playoffs start back up tonight. the Lightning play the Panthers and the Blues play the Avalanche. i do plan on catching some of those games.

the NBA playoffs start back up tonight. the Eastern Conference finals start up tonight between the Celtics and Heat. i'll try to catch some of that game tonight as well.

i should be on here tomorrow after i get the grocery shopping done. of course, it is supposed to rain tomorrow. just my fucking luck.

i need to go get the rest of the marigolds planted. i thought mom was going to help me, but she is napping at the moment. i'm not going to wake her up.
