did my good deed today...

 so, on the way home from getting the grocery shopping done, there was some construction work going on. so i had to take a detour, which i didn't mind. i have lived in this county my entire life, i know my way around. i got behind this old lady who i guess was somewhere between 68-81, too old to be fucking driving in my opinion, and she started to go down the wrong way onto interstate 70. i honked my horn and at the top of my lungs screamed, you're going the wrong fucking way. she looked back at me and then looked at the semi that was coming up the exit ramp. now, i don't know what happened next as i had shit that i had to get home in this fucking heat. but, i haven't heard anything about an accident so i'm guessing i did my good deed for the day.

i about shit my pants when i picked up my prescription from Rite Aid today. the last two times i got my Trulicity shots, they were $25. today, $408. well, that was a punch to the dick i wasn't expecting.

i did get everything on the grocery list. thankfully, the bill at Kroger was only $100. 

the Yankees won last night over Toronto, 6-5. Aaron Judge had his first walk off home run to win the game. this afternoon, Gleyber Torres drove in all 5 runs and the Yankees swept the 2 game series against Toronto, 5-3. the Yankees are now 22-8 on the season. that is their best start since 2003. they start a series in Chicago tomorrow night against the White Sox.

i should be on here in the morning tomorrow. mom has a late physical therapy appointment tomorrow, so i want to get the blog done before i have to take her to that.

i need to get ready for the Rangers game tonight and to cook dinner. i think i am going to make some burgers tonight. at least, that is the plan for now.
