today is the day i always love. that is because, tonight will be the Royal Rumble. outside of WrestleMania, this is my favorite WWE event. i'm hoping there will be plenty of surprises and that the card will be even better than it is on paper. and given the latest round of Vince McMahon bullshit, i'm hoping everything goes so well they can forget that that fuck exists anymore. thank god he's no longer associated with the company. Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both really good last night.

it rained this morning and my arthritis was raging enough that i just gave in and slept. i think i got something close to 5 hours of sleep in my massage chair. i really wish i could sleep in my bed but my back isn't anywhere close to being good enough for that to happen. i don't even bother to try anymore. i stretch out in bed and then go to sleep in my chair. rinse and repeat.

so, i was in the shower today, mostly because i really fucking needed one. i got out, dried off, got dressed (partly) and my mother said to me from the living room, guess what? i asked her what did she do? she was trying to put the sheets into the fold out couch and fucking fell into the couch, minus the cushions now, and cut her arm. so yeah, much like how a parent can't turn away for even a second and their young child will do something stupid... i told her she is now on punishment. she can sit in her chair and watch tv or sleep. anything other than that, an adult has to be present at all times. i think all of this truly explains why i wanted to be dead before my 30's. and i know that the odds are my life is going to get better at some fucking point, but my patience for that is running as fucking thin as ever.

i did get to see a good portion of the Seattle Sounders becoming the first MLS club to win the CONCACAF Champions League. they defeated Pumas last night 3-0 (5-2 on aggregate). they now will become the first MLS club and first club from the USA to play in the FIFA Club World Cup.
i'll be on here in the morning tomorrow. mom has her MRI tomorrow evening. most likely, by the time we get home from that, my sister will be down here.
