might as well get it all done at once

i decided since i was going to the grocery store today, i might as well go to the bank as well. and then i figured, i had to do the trash, i might as well start moving the shit in the garage i have to move since i'm going to be cold anyway.

i spent almost $300 at the grocery store. when mom handed me the scroll, i knew i wasn't going to have anytime to hit the liquor store up. now, most of the money was gift cards and over the counter medicine. it was me and the elderly hunting the scraps basically when it came to the Christmas ham. luckily, i found what i was looking for.

i went next door to get the trash done after i put the groceries away. my cousin's husband said that my uncle will be coming home on Friday. that should be nice, if he actually does get to come home. i know everyone would love to see him home for Christmas.

my sister came down today. she's going to go to the basketball game with me tomorrow and Friday. that should be interesting.

i did watch a good amount of The Wall last night on NBC. i could easily see this become one of those addicting game shows at night. i was rooting for the couple to lose all the money, mostly because i'm an asshole. but, having the first episode show a couple walk away with $1.3 million is a pretty good way to attract viewers.

Monday Night Raw was sort of blah for most of the night. i do love Neville as a heel. and i loved what they did with Braun Strowman at the end. having him destroy Rollins and Reigns was excellent. that sets up a very interesting top of the card on Raw now.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, WWE Smackdown, the season finale of Scream Queens and Tony Bennett celebrates 90: The Best is Yet to Come. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.

the New York Rangers play tonight at Pittsburgh. Rick Nash is out injured again. it's somewhat amazing the Rangers are playing as well as they are with so many injuries. tonight will be a stiff test for them.

i'll be on here sometime tomorrow, probably after i get done moving shit in the garage. they are going to insulate the back wall of the garage. i wish i would have known that before i put up all that shit on it. i now have posters to take down and other shit. plus move a few shelves and boxes, filing cabinets, etc. good times.

i hope this finds you well, having your Christmas shopping done and not looking to kill someone in your family.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...

what a crazy day

when a day involves an assassination that makes you think of WWI and 2 other incidents in Europe that will most likely be terrorist acts, it certainly makes you wonder when WWIII is going to start. and how many in this country are going to be fucking crazy when they find out we are helping Russia fight it. i certainly imagine anyone old enough to remember Russia being the sworn enemy forever isn't going to be happy helping the former head of the KGB with a war. of course, i'm probably get way ahead of myself, i doubt many Americans actually know that Putin was once the head of the KGB.

my thoughts to everyone in Turkey, Berlin and Zurich. i would say prayers but religion is killing us all.

i did write some more poems today, of course. i typed up all 3 of them this afternoon. i really, REALLY like all 3 of them. i'll probably send them out in early 2017. i really want the rest of this year to just be a writing period.

WWE Roadblock: End of the Line was pretty good last night. i thought Sam Roberts did a great job on the pre-show. i loved that The New Day lost the tag titles to Sheamus and Cesaro. a heel Neville is exactly what the Cruiserweights need. i wasn't in love with Charlotte winning over Sasha Banks, but if that sets up Bayley winning the title down the line, i'm ok. i am happy that Kevin Owens is still the Universal Champion, although i really didn't need another Shield reunion tease with Reigns and Rollins putting Jericho and Owens through tables. all in all, not a bad way to end the shitty year of 2016.

i figured if i picked against the New Orleans Saints yesterday they would win. i was correct. Drew Brees had a monster game and the Saints beat Arizona 48-41.

the New York Rangers won in a shootout yesterday over the Devils, 3-2. the Rangers never had a lead in the game, so stealing that one is a little bit sweeter. they play again tomorrow night against Pittsburgh.

the season finale of Shameless last night was excellent. i absolutely loved it.

The Affair was excellent as well last night. Brendan Fraser was creepy as fuck once again.

the Motorhead: Clean Your Clock special last night only reminded me how much i miss Lemmy.

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and The Wall (Game Show). i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

adding to this crazy day, the fucking sun made an appearance. i was actually able to walk down to the street and get the paper and mail without having the fear of walking on ice for a change.

i will be making yet another fucking trip to the grocery store tomorrow. my sister comes down on Wednesday, so lord knows i have to go get shit she wants and what mom wants. sounds like another pit stop in the liquor store again.

i hope everyone had a great weekend. if not. climb the tallest tree you can find and then contemplate the joy of falling.

the waiting is the hardest part

no real update on my uncle yet. my mom got a text this morning that they are still waiting for the results from the scan yesterday. so i figure sometime while i'm watching Manchester United today i'll get the news. good times.

The Voice last night was interesting. my favorite battle was this one:

Amy is certainly one of the ones i think can win the whole thing. next week starts the knockouts.

Scream Queens was excellent last night. it's so campy at times that you can't help but laugh. but, it's also very graphic, which makes it close to perfect.

i actually got close to 6 hours of sleep last night. i was watching The Wall last night before i fell asleep. i remember when the high school baseball team used to come over on Friday nights to watch that movie and get drunk or stoned at the house. while watching it last night, the movie certainly took on a different tone to me now that my father is dead. some of those old war scenes took my mind to a completely different place. of course, i'm also 24 years older now.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be American Horror Story: Hotel and You're The Worst. I'll be watching NXT and some other shit on the WWE Network.

Manchester United plays at CSKA Moscow today in Champions League action. United is on a road losing streak in the Champions League so i really hope that ends today. everyone in the group is level on points, so a win today would be a big one.

before the game, i'm hoping to work in some writing and a shower. such is the glorious life of a poet.

my sister started her journey today. i guess by the weekend she'll be in South Africa. i imagine those are going to be some interesting pictures.

that's all for me today. i imagine tomorrow's blog is going to be an interesting one.

hope this finds everyone doing something interesting with their hands. (i know exactly what you dirty minded fuckers are thinking)
