 it is supposed to be above average around here for the next week or so with the temperatures. so, it does feel like summer here already.

the New York Yankees won last night in Seattle, 10-4. Aaron Judge hit 2 home runs and took another one away on defense.

the dog days of summer...

 today has been one of those days where i am swimming in frustration... doing my best to not kill anyone. i wanted to get to the grocery shopping way sooner, so of course, mom slept until around noon. i tried to ice my back before i went and it did me no good. thankfully, shopping today wasn't too bad. now, i could have gone without the physically challenged guy at Kroger bagging my groceries. but, mom discovered another Kroger gift card she had in her room (it makes me wonder what i will find when she dies in there) so the grocery bill was $100 cheaper than it would have been.

Game 1 of the doubleheader today between the Yankees and Twins is in the top of the 12th, tied at 3. i'm sure, given the number of times the Yankees could have won this game, they will find a way to lose. Judge did hit his 55th HR of the season today.

NXT was very good last night.

Deadliest Catch was good last night.

the season finale of What We Do in the Shadows was fucking hilarious last night.

the season finale of Hard Knocks was excellent last night.

the USWNT defeated Nigeria last night, 2-1.

the Yankees just won 5-4 in 12 innings. i would have loved if they would have won when they had the chance to win in the 9th, 10th or the 11th. now they have to play Game 2 in 30 minutes.

i need to get the trash picked up and figure out dinner tonight.
