running on fumes...

 so, i got 3 hours of sleep last night. i woke up this morning and realized mom kept the coffee pot on last night. i woke her up and let her know. she thought for sure she had turned it off. so i had to get that soaking, since we don't have a backup pot. (mom destroyed that one years ago doing the same damn thing) she had tea this morning instead of coffee. 

i did type up those 4 poems last night. i should get some poems out before Thanksgiving.

Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both really good last night.

AEW Rampage was ok last night.

Real Time with Bill Maher was good last night.\

i did watch two more episodes of Say Nothing last night. both were excellent. i'll probably watch a couple more tonight.

up too early...

 when you get to bed sometime after 4 AM, i can't imagine being happy with being up at 8. and sure enough, there i was, waking up a little after 8 and unable to fall back asleep. here's why i hate getting 5 or 6 hours of sleep. the next night, it never fails, i'll get less than 4. consistent fucking sleep is all i really need right now. and i know there is little fucking chance of that happening. joy.

i did do some poetry work last night. i know where my next 23 poems will be going to. that will likely happen sometime tomorrow.

being able to sleep without NyQuil...

 i was so angry last night that i decided to fuck it with the NyQuil and just go to sleep. now, i didn't get good sleep of course. but, i didn't have any major coughing fits either. so, i think that is a step in the right direction. i wish i could say the same for my mother. while she is getting out of the fog she was in, i'm afraid her physical health isn't any better.

the Dayton Flyers pissed away a 10 point halftime lead last night and lost at UNLV, 60-52. Dayton had way too many fucking turnovers last night and yet another injury scare. 

The Voice was pretty good last night.

Deadliest Catch was good last night. i believe that was the last show of the season.

NXT was excellent last night.

 the sun actually made an appearance today. that was very welcomed. i think i got something close to decent sleep last night. of course, my back said something else. so, i spent a good portion of the morning in my massage chair with ice on me. good times.

so, lets see if this new modem and router are good...

 mom had a tech guy come out this morning and look at our modem. he tested it and quickly knew it needed to be replaced. so far, the new one he installed is working good. i don't think the internet has gone out once since everything got settled. i hope it stays that way.

i had to go make a deposit at the bank today. so, i missed the start of the USA vs. Panama match. when i got back home, Panama was up 1-0. Gio Reyna scored right as i sat down and that started the goal fest. the USA won 6-2. i'm really happy to see them score, but i'm also keeping in mind the competition. but, if that is their last match for 2020, that's a good way to end this shitty year.

Moonbase 8 was pretty funny last night.

The Undoing was fucking brilliant last night.

Murder on Middle Beach looks like it is going to be interesting.

the season finale of Last Week Tonight was amazing, as usual.

the New Orleans Saints started off slow yesterday, but eventually woke up and defeated the 49ers, 27-13. the bigger story from the game was Drew Brees getting injured. today the scans revealed he has broken ribs and a collapsed lung. so, i doubt he will play again anytime soon. so, that really means the offense is going to change and the defense is going to have to carry the load for a good bit. hopefully, they can keep on winning.
