 i often think of my creative process like a child goes out for a swim and you patiently wait for the child to come back to shore. most of the time, the child makes it back. it gets more interesting when the child doesn't. then, the creative process becomes this adventure. i have multiple poems swimming around my head. they tend to make it to shore around 3 AM. and people wonder why i don't sleep much...

the New York Yankees won last night at home against Cleveland, 4-2. hopefully, they will win the series tonight.

the New York Knicks won last night at home over Miami, 111-105. the series is now 1-1.

the grocery shopping went pretty good today. saw one of the most beautiful women i think i have ever seen in my life today at Kroger. this stunning blonde, dressed in all black. she walked past me in one aisle and i caught a glimpse of her out of the corner of my eye. just one of those women that makes you stop dead in your tracks. she was in the checkout lane next to mine. i suppose it was a good thing my line was running slow.

 the rain that started overnight and was still going this morning, was kicking my ass. i don't sleep well anymore when it is raining. as i tell my mom, we might need to move to the land of bent spoons. she is clueless that that is a heroin reference. thankfully, the rain eventually ended and we got a little sun today.

i went to the bank to deposit my check. of course, the lobby was closed for some fucking reason. so, there's 20 minutes of my life in the drive thru lane i will never get back. after that, i went to Big Lots to see if i could find some better storage for my cards. i did find that and 2 packs of 2019 Upper Deck Goodwin Champions. there was a couple good cards in the two packs i got. i went to Dollar Tree next door to see what they had. i found a Batman and Joker figurines that i didn't have. that was only $2. and then i had to go pick up mom's pills at Kroger.

so, the Manchester United game against Liverpool got postponed yesterday. i have no clue when or even if the game will be rescheduled. sadly, i doubt any of the protests will force the Glazers to sell the team. this is when i wish someone with an ungodly amount of fuck you money made them an offer they couldn't refuse for the team. but, that isn't going to happen.

the Yankees defeated the Tigers yesterday, 2-0, to complete the sweep. they are off tonight and start a series against the Astros tomorrow.

this weather has me in a constant state of pain. between my left arm absolutely fucking killing me at the moment to the general soreness that i haven't been able to sleep well for 2 weeks and the windchill is somewhere around -30. when i went out to feed the cats i took a breath through my nose as i figured it would be less painful for my nose to freeze than my lungs. all cats are still alive by the way. Kit Kat is back to using all 4 legs again.

i did watch Manchester United get a 2-0 win today over Cardiff City. amazing what a big signing will do. Mata gets an assist, RVP and Rooney are back healthy, and the sun decides to shine on the ass of that dog Ashley Young. 3 very badly needed points and a very badly needed victory beer.

not exactly sure what i'm going to watch tonight. i will find something as i will not be watching the state of the union.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night. it started off with the HHH middle finger like i thought it would, but by the end of the show, the fans got what they wanted. plus, it looks like the Wyatt Family and The Shield are going to feud here soon. i definitely like that.

i have no clue if i'm going to the Dayton Flyers game tomorrow. i believe if i am in this much pain again tomorrow, there is no fucking chance i'm going out. i do believe the game is on television. plus, the New York Rangers play another game at Yankee Stadium against the fucking Islanders. i really would love to see them whip those assholes just like they did the Devils.

that's all for me today. i'm going to go roll up into a ball and cry myself to sleep. and i'm sure every smart ass thinks those tears are from the fact that i'm unable to suck my own dick while in that ball. you would be correct.
