welcome to the weekend...

 i wrote 2 poems last night. those were the first ones i have written this month. i guess i am having a harder time turning my pain into art these days. joy.

the Yankees lost yesterday at Seattle, 3-2. the lead in the AL East is now 4 games. the magic number to win the division is still 6. they start a series tonight at Oakland.

Big Brother was good last night. T'Kor was evicted. Makensy is the new HOH.

NJPW was very good last night.

The Old Man was excellent last night.

i did watch some of the Patriots vs. Jets last night. i made a little money on the game.

on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown, AEW Rampage and Real Time with Bill Maher. i'll watch NXT Level Up sometime tonight on Peacock.

i will hopefully be on here tomorrow before Ohio State plays Marshall and Manchester United plays Crystal Palace.

i am hoping to do a little poetry work tonight as i know i need to get another round of submissions out there.

i need to go ice my back down before i make dinner tonight.

 i am hoping it stays sunny today as my arthritis has been horrible the last couple of days. i don't really need any more pain while doing my laundry today.

so, after i went to Rite Aid yesterday, i watched the Ohio State game. i was a little disappointed they weren't better on offense, but i have absolutely no complaints about Ohio State's defense yesterday. they beat Penn State 20-12. 

Manchester United won yesterday at Sheffield United, 2-1.

the New York Rangers won last night in Seattle, 4-1. that was a good start to their road trip. and congrats to Jonathan Quick on his first win as a Ranger. 

i did watch a few college football games yesterday.

AEW Collision and AEW Battle of the Belts were both pretty good last night.

Saturday Night Live was fucking hilarious last night.

Austin City Limits was great last night.

welcome to the weekend...

 so, today was an odd one. it snowed this morning for like 30 minutes. thankfully, there wasn't much accumulation. i helped mom get an iHeart radio account finally. she got the app on her phone and was able to actually sleep. she has a problem of turning her brain off. there is enough sleep options on the app that i think she finally just let go and went to sleep. i took a little nap this afternoon, mostly to hope the pain died down. of course, it didn't. i then had to go to the post office to return some things for mom. after that, i went to Meijer to get some things she wanted. and then i went to Dollar Tree to get a few things i needed. all in all, the afternoon went pretty well but it was fucking cold.

i did get some poems written...

 my back has been killing me here lately. but, i did get some poems written late last night. of course, that has meant that i haven't done shit today. it never fails honestly. these winter blues constantly kick my ass and all the tricks i have learned over the years to combat them don't work anymore. but, the poems were really good. i will hopefully get some submissions out soon.
