supposedly, it won't rain forever...

the rain that started yesterday morning is still going on. i know we're over 4 inches so far, probably approaching 5 by now. my body has gotten used to this shit now. it's not even pain anymore, just fucking misery. from the base of my neck down to the bottom of my feet. joy.

i've been up since 6:30 this morning. we took the Highlander in to the dealership. the guy told us he needs to order the parts to replace the brake light and 4 bulbs. he thinks they will be in by tonight and hopefully have the car ready tomorrow. they gave us a Rav4 to drive as a rental. it's not bad, but i'd rather have the Highlander.

i do hope the Highlander is ready tomorrow since mom and i have a college basketball game to go to. more on that tomorrow morning.

i wasn't happy with American Horror Story last night. i only really liked the last 10 minutes of the episode. considering it was Halloween, i was very disappointed.

Total Divas was pretty funny last night.

Lucha Underground was excellent last night. i think next week might be the final episode of the season.

NXT was great last night.

205 Live was very good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Big Bang Theory, Young Sheldon and Will & Grace.

the New York Rangers play tonight in Anaheim. i'd love to see them actually have a winning streak. i won't hold my breath.

i did listen to episode 210 of Notsam Wrestling this morning. you can find that by going here:

mom and i went to Perkins for breakfast this morning. i have this habit of listening to all the conversations going on around me while i'm eating. this guy behind me asked his buddy if we had invaded Mexico yet. his buddy laughed and said that's the way to solve the problem. we should just take over the entire hemisphere. this is a time where i wish i had the hearing problems my mother has. i was hoping the one guy was joking. he wasn't. i didn't bother to finish my coffee before we left. mom wanted to leave because the fucking ceiling was dripping on her. good times.

i will be on here in the morning tomorrow. my goal is to have this blog done before noon. i figure they will call for the Highlander and throw everything off. i have no damn clue when i'll be doing the grocery shopping.

i hope the start of your November has been not the rainy fucking mess it has been here.

reality hits a little town in Ohio

so last night got pretty interesting around here. a cop got shot and a woman died at the Speedway gas station that is about 2 miles or so from the house. the manhunt went on for most of the night and part of the early morning. they eventually found the guy involved in this sleeping in a camper in the backyard of a house near a local church. i'm amazed at the number of people around here that don't lock their shit. apparently they still believe that that kind of shit only happens on the news, not to them. imagine their surprise. i figured correctly given this area, the people involved were white and most likely drugs were involved as well. considering they were coming from Tennessee and on their way to New York for a construction job, i definitely think weed, meth, cocaine or heroin or all of them were most likely involved. especially when the guy started crying on the morning news when he found out his girlfriend died in the crossfire. as you might imagine, there will be poems.

i did write 5 poems when i woke up this morning. i finally got the one that had been in my head for the last 3 days out. it's really fucking good. i think i'll be getting some poems ready for a submission by the end of this week.

The Voice was really good last night. i can't wait for the live shows.

Gotham was really fucking great last night.

Monday Night Raw was beyond fucking boring last night. if it wasn't for Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho and Seth Rollins, i probably wouldn't be watching the show. it really needs to completely overhaul the writing staff and take a clue from Smackdown. or, get rid of the third hour of the show or make that a showcase for other shit. and honestly, stop relying on nostalgia to carry the show.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, The Voice, Smackdown and the season finale of Atlanta.

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against the Blues. hopefully they dominate them again but win this time.

i took a shower after i got everything done today (trash, feeding birds, etc.). while in the shower, i had a fart that smelled like a mix of shit and death. after i got out of the shower and started getting dressed, i rushed back to the toilet. while on the toilet, i felt like i was going to pass out. i guess that still gives me the hope that i'll die like Elvis one day. i think i got a little too much sun today and maybe the shower was too hot as well. it was damn near 80 fucking degrees outside today. i noticed the roses in the backyard by the bird feeders are blooming once again. i guess we're back to fucking summer again. being a type 2 diabetic now, i know i need to really keep an eye on my blood sugar. good times.

in better news, mom finally got an appointment to at least get her foot in the door with the guy who did my back 8 years ago. i have to take her there on Friday afternoon. that means the Friday blog will be in the morning as i have a college basketball game later that evening.

i got some great FREE music at NoiseTrade today. i'll put the link in the music section.

that's all for me today kids. take it easy and then take it again.

these hands were made for pain

my mother and i worked on the garage for hours yesterday. i got done just in time to watch the horse race. that made me happy. of course, when i walked out there this morning and saw shit barely hanging on the wall, i knew the work wasn't done. we were trying to use this spray adhesive so we wouldn't have to use thumbtacks. so, i was busing using the thumbtacks this morning. my fingers are in so much fucking pain right now. which of course, is why i'm typing. when your mantra is find the pleasure in the pain, you sort of need the pain in order to find the pleasure. funny how that works. the garage does look different. my sister will shit the next time she is here.

i was happy to see American Pharoah become the first horse to win the grand slam yesterday. that's certainly the horse i have been waiting my entire adult life for.

i more or less flipped between college football, NBA, NHL and cooking shows last night. the Saturday Night Live Halloween special was the same one they ran a few years ago. ROH was really good. i still have it on the DVR, as i will probably watch it again later today. Austin City Limits was excellent last night.

the Sacramento Kings lost a nail biter yesterday, 114-109. no shame in losing to a Clippers team that should be great this season. after 3 games this season, i do believe the Kings will be MUCH better this season. not sure if they will make the playoffs, but they will be closer than anyone thinks at this point of the season.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Homeland, The Affair and Last Week Tonight.

the New Orleans Saints take on the New York Giants today. hopefully the Saints can keep the winning going.

my fantasy hockey team pulled even last night. not sure if i've got enough players going tonight to squeak out a victory. but i can live with 5-5 for the week.

i'm an underdog in all 3 of my fantasy football matchups today. my winning streak is bound to end sometime.

the evil side of me would love to see the Mets lose the World Series at home tonight. i won't be watching, but i know i would enjoy it.

i hope everyone had a wonderful Halloween. hope your Dia de los Muertos will be even better.
