i did the dishes last night in the bathtub. i made the coffee this morning in the living room. i figured i might as well start all that now since i know that is how the next couple of weeks are going to be.
the Dayton Flyers won yesterday at home against Grambling State, 76-46. they next play UNLV on Wednesday at home.
Manchester United lost at Newcastle yesterday, 1-0. they were probably lucky only to lose 1-0 to be honest.
the New York Rangers came from behind yesterday to win at Nashville, 4-3. they play tonight at home against San Jose.
i did watch plenty of college football yesterday:
the MLS final is all set up now. LAFC will be play at Columbus.
the USWNT defeated China yesterday, 3-0.
AEW Collision was good last night.
here are your NBA highlights from last night:

and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Last Week Tonight, the season finale of Shining Vale, Fellow Travelers, The Curse and Power Book III: Raising Kanan.
we basically got one half of the kitchen cleaned out yesterday. today will be about moving mom's plants into her room and getting the rest of that portion of the kitchen cleaned out. thankfully, we don't have to move the kitchen table.
i did figure out who i am sending Christmas cards to. i will hopefully get that done in the next week or so.
we need to go to Home Depot today. mom bought a new kitchen light that of course didn't come with the light bulbs for it. plus, we need more trash bags as we are thankfully starting to throw some shit away.
the New Orleans Saints play at home today against the Lions. i will probably watch some of that after i get back home.
i have to be up before 7:30 in the morning tomorrow. i'm not sure how many alarms i will have to set to have that happen. i got the feeling our contractor Joe is one of those guys that gets up at 4:30 in the morning each day and wants to get to work right then and there. i caught in the conversation on Friday how he can start at 7:30 but at the job he just did, he started at 6 AM everyday. i am a nocturnal person, so this is going to get interesting.
i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday will be even better.
until tomorrow kids...

so, when i fall in love with someone, i fall rather hard. it seems the more i try, the less it actually happens. so, i have been trying to take it slower, enjoy the scene, be honest and full of empathy. then came the spanish princess. i had been pursuing her for years, but never stepping over the line. now, it was easy to do since she is in Colorado and i'm in Ohio. well, a few months ago, she texted me and told me that she was into me. she was the first to say i love you. this made my world. the dream woman and i finally had found her. now, i knew of all her battles with cancer and other health scares, but anyone that knows me knows that i know that is all part of the package. she texted me this morning to let me know she can't do a relationship right now. that i don't deserve to be "stuck" in something where i can't get all the love i deserve. i'm not sure why she thinks i deserve it, as i have never been in a relationship where someone loved me as much as i loved them. i told her that i will always love her, always think of her as a friend and will forever be there for her. i get the feeling that she thinks her cancer is back again and she has used up her 9 lives. so yeah, this is probably going to be one those weekends where the depression grows a little deeper and the poems get even more sad than usual.
