try not to have too much candy...

i know for some of you today is a very religious day. for the rest of us, enjoy the candy.

here are your 3 videos for this day of National Poetry Month:

Manchester United won yesterday against Norwich, 3-2. United pissed away a 2 goal lead but thankfully, CR7 saved the day once again. he got his hat trick on a free kick which proved to be the winning goal. add in some timely losses from Tottenham and Arsenal, United is now just 3 points out of 4th place.

the New York Rangers won against Detroit yesterday, 4-0. they are once again tied with Carolina for the division lead.

the New York Yankees won last night at Baltimore, 5-2. hopefully, they will win the series today.

AEW Battle of the Belts 2 was pretty good last night.

Saturday Night Live was hilarious last night.

enjoy some music"

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be the season finale of Power Book IV: Force, the season finale of Shining Vale, Last Week Tonight and Game Theory with Bomani Jones.

here are your NBA highlights from the playoffs yesterday:

i did get my order from Wish.com yesterday. 10 autographed or numbered or relic baseball cards. i didn't have any of the cards i got, so i was happy.

mom just got me a 2022 Topps Series 1 hanger box for Easter. i can't wait to open that up.

i should be on here tomorrow after i get back from taking mom to her physical therapy appointment.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. i hope your Sunday will be even better.

the joys of a bad back...

so i took a shower last night and got the warm water to hit my lower back. i think i did too good of a job as i had to shit right after i got out of the shower. talk about feeling like you just wasted the last twenty minutes of your life. of course, i sit at this computer so much each day, i doubt i'm doing myself any favors. my back tightened up while i was sitting in the waiting room this morning while mom was getting her blood work done. not the easiest thing to have happen when you're checking out this older black woman's legs and don't want to come off as a fucking creep. good times.

we went to Perkins for breakfast after mom got her blood work done. that's the only place around here who has coffee i can stand. no lie.

the New York Yankees start a series tonight at home against the Angels. the Yankees magic number to clinch is 3. i'm hoping they are drinking some champagne at some point on this homestand.

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night. i love that Bray Wyatt is being used more and more now.

The Deuce was excellent last night.

i've been really enjoying Ken Burns new documentary about country music. i'm a sucker for history and all these old songs are reminding me of what my grandmother used to sing when i was in her house as a child.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown, Mayans M.C., Mr. Mercedes, The Jim Jefferies Show and They Shall Not Grow Old. i'll watch 205 Live sometime tonight on WWE Network.

the Champions League started today. i watched a little bit of it. i'm not that interested when Manchester United isn't in it. of course, i have to get used to watching United play on Thursdays again because of the Europa League.

i still have the trash to do, so that's all for me. i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

have a good one kids...

old memories come back like a flood...

i was in my early 20's in a wild relationship that had me coming home most nights and either drinking, crying, hitting things, or all of the above. i would usually put on Whipping Post and play it way too loud. that was one of the joys of living alone at the farm. i literally could do whatever the fuck i wanted. when the news of Gregg Allman dying yesterday hit, all those memories came racing back to me. i would spend hours upon hours listening to The Allman Brothers, sitting out on the porch, writing poems, drowning my soul in cheap liquor, whatever. so goodbye to one of the greatest. go have fun with your brother once again. rest in peace.

the New York Yankees only had 2 hits yesterday. they somehow managed to beat the A's 3-2. hopefully they can win the series this afternoon.

ROH was excellent last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Twin Peaks: The Return, Veep and Silicon Valley.

i will probably watch some of the Indianapolis 500 today, hoping that Juan Pablo Montoya can win another one.

and i will probably watch some of the Coca-Cola 600 tonight as well.

i've got the UFC from Sweden on the television as i'm typing this up. nothing like starting your Sunday off with some violence.

i wrote 3 poems last night. i typed them up last night as well. i really, REALLY like these 3. they will be part of my next submission, due to go out tomorrow morning.

i will probably watch a little of AS Roma's game today. Francesco Totti's last match is not one to miss.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully your Sunday will be even better.
