well, it is going to be too warm for a white christmas this year. i guess it is going to fucking rain, most likely for days. joy. i made sure the bird feeders were full, given what is coming. i screwed my back up moving some shit back into the kitchen. that was fun. but, i did get my Charlie Brown christmas tree up. that's all i can muster this year. i'm just hoping when the contractor gets here in the morning that he gets the vent hood in and is gone before noon.
i did take mom out last night to see some lights. we just went around town. it was pretty nice, although mom talked about how it was much better in the years past. as is everything, hence nostalgia.
the finale of Big Brother: Reindeer Games was excellent last night. i didn't think Nicole would win.
NJPW was good last night.
here are your NBA highlights from last night:
the New Orleans Saints lost last night at the Rams, 30-22. trust me, the game wasn't as close as the score shows.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Smackdown and AEW Rampage. i'll watch NXT Level Up sometime tonight on Peacock.
the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Edmonton.
Manchester United plays at West Ham in the morning. i will probably be on here after that game is over. i'm hoping to be in a good mood.
i hope everyone has a great weekend. if you are last minute shopping, i hope you find some good deals. if you are traveling, please be patient and safe.
happy holidays.
until tomorrow kids...

i started off a little earlier than usual today with the grocery shopping. i found just about everything... and i only had to go to three stores.
the final two episodes of Industry were really, really good last night. i'm totally invested into seeing what happens in season 2.
Monday Night Raw was average at best last night.
the NBA starts back up tonight. i'm sure i'll watch some of the two games tonight.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Under the Grapefruit Tree: The CC Sabathia Story. along with the NBA, i'll probably watch some of the USA World Juniors pre-tournament game against Finland.
i did watch a decent amount of the Bengals beating the Steelers last night. that was a good laugh.
i might be on here later with a little poetry news. got an invite to send some poems in to this place and i think i have 5 that are good enough. at least i'm hoping so.
i should have some baseball cards coming tomorrow. more on that tomorrow night.
i will be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays in the League Cup quarter-finals.
i got mom some new candles today at the grocery store. i also got her another candle warmer so she can have one going in her room as well as the one she has going in the kitchen. she wasn't expecting the new warmer.
i have trash to pick up here and next door, so that's all for me kids.

i woke up this morning with a horrible pain in my neck. i figured i had slept wrong or something. i then opened up the blinds in the kitchen and saw it was raining. or it could be that i thought. the damn rain gets my arthritis raging inside of me. but, as i have done for 41 years now, just plow through the fucking pain and get on with it. i had laundry to do, which gets harder and harder since i can't stand for long periods of time any longer. nothing quite like folding a t-shirt while it feels like your left leg is about to break. as usual, just turn up the music louder and get it over with. thankfully, my laundry is done now.
the New York Rangers were grossly outplayed last night by New Jersey. the fact that the game got to OT was simply due to The King. he had 45 damn saves last night as the Rangers lost to the Devils in a shootout, 4-3. of course, it was an ex-Rangers player that did them in, Brian Boyle. it never fails.
the Rangers play tomorrow night at Toronto.
Young Sheldon was pretty good last night.
Life in Pieces was fucking hilarious last night.
A Saturday Night Live Christmas Special was funny as well last night. those skits seemed to lift my mood a bit.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight.
neither my mom or i really felt like going to the Dayton Flyers game tomorrow afternoon. it's supposed to be snowing or sleeting at that time and i figured arthritis would keep us from enjoying anything. thankfully, my cousin can use the tickets. they are coming over in the morning to get the tickets and parking pass. i told mom to tell them to think of it as an early Christmas gift. Dayton should win the game. if they lose to Wagner, this season is going to be even longer than i feared.
that game will be on at the same time that Manchester United is playing tomorrow.
i will probably be on here after those games are over.
by not going to the game, we will have plenty of time to pack the car and know exactly how much room we do or don't have before we leave Sunday morning to go to my sister's house up in the Columbus area.
i'm not looking forward to driving in the snow. and i'm trying to do my best to try to enjoy the holiday once i get up there. of course, if the New Orleans Saints lose on Sunday, all bets are off.
i'm going to try to do some writing tonight. if that happens, i'll have news in the blog tomorrow of some poems being typed up in the morning.
if you have already started your travels for the holiday, be safe. if you're smart and having it at your place, enjoy a nice glass of something strong.
hasta mañana mis amigos
