it's just a tornado warning...

i'm typing this while where i live is currently under a tornado warning. i am at the point of my life now where if i am meant to die, so be it. needless to say, i'll get the blog done and probably take a nap.

our power went out this morning for a little over a hour. mom called the place where she does physical therapy and cancelled her appointment. 10 minutes later, the power came back on.

arthritis has been winning the day in this house.

NXT was really good last night.

Drop The Mic was excellent last night.

You're The Worst was great last night.

the New York Rangers lost last night at Vancouver, 4-1. the refs certainly did them no favors in the game. i love that the Canucks fans were complaining that the refs were screwing "them" so they wouldn't get the #1 pick in the draft. what a shit show.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight (hopefully) will be Vice News Tonight, Will & Grace, Better Things and Desus & Mero.

the New York Yankees tied last night and today. neither game was on television.

i did listen to episode 229 of Notsam Wrestling this afternoon. you can find that by going here:

i had to go to the local grocery store to get some bread this afternoon. mom wanted some Taco Bell while i was out. i hate being out in public when my arthritis is raging. i'm waiting to have the cops called on me because i look like i could kill someone. i guess time will tell.

i'll be on here tomorrow after i get the rest of the grocery shopping done. it will hopefully be long before the Dayton Flyers play tomorrow night.

until then kids...

i'm off to go watch the radar...

La madre naturaleza no me matará, al menos no todavía.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...

let the liquor flow

you would think with how strong i made the victory drinks yesterday i would have slept better. instead, i'm in this shitty pattern of waking up every few hours and wondering what the fuck. i suppose it's time to exhaust the brain with another writing session.

the New York Yankees whipped Baltimore again yesterday, 13-5. Gary Sanchez set the major league record for the fastest a player has ever got to 11 home runs in their career (23 games). hopefully they will get the sweep today and get even closer to a playoff position. they are 2.5 games out of the wildcard as of right now.

Manchester United took on a very stubborn Hull City team yesterday. the one thing i did love about United yesterday is they played with a sense of urgency whenever they did lose possession. it felt like the ball was in Hull's half the entire second half of the game. thankfully, Marcus Rashford came to the rescue again with a late winner. United won 1-0.
always good to go into the international break with 3 wins and all 9 points.

the UFC on Fox was really good last night. i wish the main event would have lasted longer, but oh well.

ROH was excellent last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Big Brother, the finale of The Night Of, Ballers, Vice Principals, Power, Ray Donovan, the finale of Roadies and the return of The Strain.

we had a nice holy shit storm come through here last night. even had the power go out for a little bit. just long enough that all the damn clocks had to be reset. i don't think we had much damage. i still need to go out and look.

the Dayton Flyers got their first commit for 2017 yesterday. a 6-4 guard from South Carolina, Jordan Davis. he had 17 offers and chose Dayton above some other bigger name schools. and judging from what i saw, i'm really going to like this kid. he can fucking shoot.

that's all for me kids. i hope everyone had a great Saturday. hopefully your Sunday will be even better.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...
