hello anger, i remember you...

so, i just got off the phone with someone at Humana. my Medicaid cards didn't show up again today. the lady told me they were mailed out on the 24th. i said when i called last week, i was told they were mailed out on the 21st. she tells me they were requested on the 21st, but mailed out on the 24th. give it a little more time. i wanted to fucking scream. so yeah, i have an appointment later today to get my blood work done. i won't be fasting like the doctor wanted. they'll get over it. i have to check in online for my doctor's appointment tomorrow. i was hoping to have my new insurance for that. and i have pills i need to pick up. fuck me.

the Yankees won yesterday, 12-3, to sweep the Brewers. they are off today and start a series tomorrow at home against Arizona.

my luck ran out yesterday on college basketball. i only got 2 of the Final Four right.

The Americas was good last night, at least what i got to see. we had storms most of the night and tornado watches and warnings.

Last Week Tonight was BRILLIANT as usual.

Yellowjackets was fucking insane, as usual.

The White Lotus was great last night. season finale is next week.

Power Book III: Raising Kanan was very good last night.

The Righteous Gemstones was fucking hilarious last night.

on the DVR tonight will be The Voice. i'll watch some of Monday Night Raw on Netflix before i get my blood work done.

i will be on here tomorrow after i get back from my doctor's appointment.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

i guess i have some time to catch up on movies...

i finally got to see Once Upon A Time.. In Hollywood this afternoon. i enjoyed it. it dragged in a few spots, but most of the movie was really good.

Monday Night Raw was good last night. hard to fucking believe WrestleMania is this weekend.

Desus & Mero was fucking hilarious last night.

The Voice was really good last night.

The Plot Against America was excellent last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be WWE Backstage, Dark Side of the Ring and The Scheme.

i still have trash to pick up here and next door, so that's all for me today kids.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. i'm hoping i will have a trip to the bank tomorrow to deposit a check, but i'm not counting on it. i do need to go to the drugstore tomorrow to see if i can find some toilet paper. that will be fun.

a decent way to start the weekend...

i did not sleep well last night. i'm not sure what it was this time. my best guess is the holiday. i'm not a real big fan of any of them i suppose. just way too much dysfunction as a child i guess.

i was up in time to watch Manchester United take on Swansea this morning. United started early with a goal from Lukaku five minutes into the game. and then Alexis Sanchez finally scored in the 20th minute to put United up 2-0. from that point on, United basically put it on cruise control and won 2-0. hopefully that will be a sign of things to come this weekend.

the New York Yankees won last night 4-2. the big hitters for the Yankees did nothing last night. it was all Drury and Wade coming through for the runs last night. Chapman made it interesting in the 9th. Tanaka had a great start, retiring the last 13 batters he faced. the Yankees will go for the series win later this afternoon. this is the first time the Yankees have started a season 2-0 in 13 years.

the New York Rangers lost to Tampa last night 7-3. it was pretty weird to see Miller, Girardi and McDonagh playing for the other team at MSG last night. the Rangers play again tonight in Carolina. considering Carolina is (barely) still in the hunt for a playoff spot, i expect the Rangers to be up against it tonight. hopefully AV is smart enough (he isn't) to let the kids gain some valuable experience tonight.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Operation Odessa and ROH.

i will probably watch some of the Final Four games tonight as well. Loyola Chicago takes on Michigan and Kansas will play Villanova.

i figure the rest of my day will be lounging, watching some soccer. i'm currently watching Bayern Munich destroy Borussia Dortmund.

mom is busy in the kitchen getting stuff ready for the Easter weekend. i'm not sure what time my sister will be here today.

i hope everyone has a wonderful Saturday.

not the day i was expecting

let's just say when my mother told me i had to take her to the emergency room this morning, i knew my entire fucking day was going to change.

without going into too much detail, she has cellulitis on the same damn leg she's having the hip replacement on. needless to say her surgery is now being pushed back. my best guess is it will be in mid April now. the emergency room we went to at Sam North was great. we were in and out in about 60 minutes. she's now on antibiotics for the next 10 days. hopefully that does the trick or next i get to take her to the hospital.

so, since she had drugs to get, i just went and did the grocery shopping today. i figured fuck it, get it done. i was able to keep everything under $60, so i was pretty happy.

of course, all of this meant mom couldn't get her phone fixed today. so she'll be going nuts without that i'm sure.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.

The Big Bang Theory was pretty funny last night.

Life in Pieces was hilarious last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be VICE, NJPW and Real Time with Bill Maher. i'll be watching the WWE Hall of Fame ceremonies for most of the evening on WWE Network.

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Pittsburgh. i would love to see them get sharper as a team before the playoffs start, but honestly, they are exactly where i want them to be seed wise. the first wild card is probably their best chance to make it out of the first round this year.

i will be on here sometime tomorrow after Manchester United plays and after Anthony Grant is officially introduced as the next coach of the Dayton Flyers. after listening to a radio interview with Coach Grant last night, i'm all aboard now. as for United, suspensions and injuries are currently killing them. it will take a fucking miracle to make the top 4.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. it's WrestleMania weekend for me, so you know what most of this blog is going to be about for the next few days. i suppose that's the good thing about the surgery getting pushed back. i can now watch all this shit and not try to make it the rest of the day on just 2 hours of sleep.

i hate driving in the rain

i made sure i got enough sleep, but do you know how fucking hard it is to stay awake while driving in the rain? i think i must have yawned damn near the whole way to Columbus. that's almost 72 miles of yawning by the way. mom then had me get off on the wrong exit. that was fun. i got her to the hotel in plenty of time. as i told her, i don't drive to enjoy the scenery. i drive because i have someplace to fucking go. i stayed around until she got on the shuttle bus to go to her conference. the drive home was rather interesting. the rain finally stopped and there was about 10 of us wondering who had the balls to pass the guy driving the sheriff's vehicle. i decided i was the one, especially when i knew this fucker had been driving 85 in a 65 mph zone for about 10 miles. so i flew past him and he didn't give a shit. good times. i wanted to make sure i made it to the post office by 1:30 this afternoon. at 1:27, i was pulling into the parking lot.

late last night, i sent off some poems via email. and i mailed another 5 out at the post office today. i sent 3 to Dead Snakes and 5 each to Horror Sleaze Trash and Nerve Cowboy. when i hear back from these places i will pass along the verdicts.

Lucha Underground last night was very interesting. i'm not sure if Pentagon Jr. was really injured or did a fucking fantastic job of selling it. i do know the look on Vampiro's face at the end of the show means there is going to be some dark shit later on this season. that's always a good thing.

NXT was a bit of a filler show as Takeover: Dallas will be live tomorrow night. honestly, the NXT card is better than the WrestleMania card this year. more on that tomorrow.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight (weather permitting) will be The Big Bang Theory, the season finale of Life in Pieces, Lip Sync Battle and WWE Smackdown. after Smackdown is over i will be flipping to WWE Network to check out the Stone Cold Podcast with Mick Foley.

the New York Rangers play tonight in Carolina. i'm interested to see how Eric Staal plays in his first game back in Carolina.

hard to imagine that the baseball season is going to start soon. of course, the New York Yankees have some injuries already, so they are in mid season form.

it is storming again here, so my arthritis is in full hate mode at the moment. so i think i'm cutting this one off here.

i'll be on tomorrow morning as there is no way i'll fit a post in on Friday night. between having to drive back up to Columbus and back and have dinner at my sister's condo while also trying to get home for the NXT event... the last thing i want is to try to squeeze a blog into that clusterfuck.

i hope this finds everyone dry, except in the places where you shouldn't be...
