welcome to the weekend...

 between the Olympics and everything else, it feels like i have a million things going on today. i swear, there aren't enough hours in the day anymore. of course, what that really means is i am getting closer to death. joy.

i did get up in time this morning to watch the USWNT take on Japan at the Olympics. i wish Japan would have played a different style for this game, but i can't blame them for sitting back as much as they did. eventually, the USA did score. Trinity Rodman is truly coming into her own in this tournament. she scored in extra time and the USA won, 1-0. they will now play the winner of Canada and Germany in the semifinals on Tuesday.

the Yankees lost last night at home to Toronto, 8-5. hopefully, they will find a way to win this afternoon.

Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both good last night. i can't wait for SummerSlam tonight on Peacock.

AEW Rampage was good last night.

Manchester United will play Liverpool tonight in South Carolina. i'll try to catch those highlights on my phone.

the USA men's basketball team won today at the Olympics against Puerto Rico, 104-83.

i did get some BioFreeze on my back this morning, so it is doing a little better so far today. i guess that will be my future. ointments, creams, ice downs and the ins and outs of misery. joy.
