sometimes, you never break free of the fog...

since i don't sleep much anymore, life is this constant fog it seems. sure, i can function and get shit done, but it always feels like either i am on cruise control or in this constant fucking loop that never ends. i suppose i need stronger alcohol or harder drugs. ah, the memories...

AEW was really good last night.

Big Brother was good last night. i'm pretty sure Whitney will be evicted tonight.

i did stay up to watch the USA men's basketball game last night against Australia. when the USA was down 15 in the first half, i wasn't sure if they had it in them to dig themselves out of that hole. but, when a motivated Kevin Durant shows up, i'm not sure if there is a big enough hole to keep them in. the USA ended up winning the game, 97-78. they will play France for the gold medal tomorrow night.

i didn't stay up to watch the USWNT take on Australia for the bronze medal in women's soccer. i woke up and checked the score and saw that the USA was up 3-1. i went right back to sleep. the USA won the bronze, 4-3.

the Yankees won last night over Baltimore, 10-3. they start a series tonight at home against Seattle. i guess Gary Sanchez has now tested positive for COVID. i swear, this team can't have a fucking day go by without some kind of fucking drama.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Big Brother and Desus & Mero. i did watch NXT UK earlier this afternoon. it was excellent.

i might watch some of that NFL game tonight between the Cowboys and Steelers, mostly because there isn't much else on tonight.

i did do some poetry work today. i know where i'll be sending 16 poems tomorrow (hopefully).

as someone who grew up on tag team wrestling, i was crushed today when i got the news that "Beautiful" Bobby Eaton died overnight. those matches between the Midnight Express and the Rock n Roll Express were clinics on how tag teams are supposed to work in a match. and Bobby was probably one of the most underrated workers in the history of wrestling. rest in peace and my best to your family. 62 is way too young. (August 14, 1958 - August 4, 2021).

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. in a perfect world, it would be after i get the poems out, but i have never lived in a perfect world.

until tomorrow kids...
