just as i was starting to write this...

 i saw an alert come across my phone that Charlie Watts had died. it made me immediately think about the time, the only time, i got to see The Rolling Stones in concert. it was easily the best concert i have ever been to. and honestly, i always thought of Charlie as one of the most underrated drummers in the history of music. if you really listen to all those old Stones songs, the drums fatten up the sound so much. Charlie was 80 years old. rest in peace. the sound of those drums will live forever.

now great, i get to type this up with tears rolling down my face...

the Yankees won last night down in Atlanta, 5-1. that's 10 wins in a row now. hopefully, number 11 comes tonight.

the New Orleans Saints won last night at home against Jacksonville, 23-21. 

Monday Night Raw was pretty good last night.

we are in the middle of another fucking heat wave. it looks like it is going to be anywhere from 90 to 100 for the next week or so. good times.

i have to go to Kroger to get my mother's pills. she has already warned me there are something like 9 prescriptions i need to get that will cost around $200. oh joy.

i should be on here tomorrow in the morning. mom has a doctor's appointment with her heart doctor in the afternoon. and then i get to do all the grocery shopping after that is over. good times.
