another day at the zoo

 today has been pretty crazy so far. i was able to get just about everything on the grocery list. i got a box of baseball cards today from Fairfield for $5. there was a Ken Griffey Jr. card in it that was worth that much that i have never had before. that made me pretty happy. pulled two tomatoes off of the vines this morning that are pretty close to being ripe. and i guess the heat and humidity are coming back this weekend. joy.

the Yankees won last night, 13-1, over Baltimore. they had 3 pitchers make their major league debuts last night. first time that had happened on the Yankees since 1950. Luis Gil definitely earned another start after 6 scoreless innings. and that was the most runs the Yankees have scored all season. hopefully, there will be more to come in tonight's game.

NXT was excellent last night.

Deadliest Catch was really good last night.

i did watch the ending of the TBT finals last night:

i did stay up and watched the USA women's basketball team defeat Australia, 79-55.

i'll probably watch the USA men's basketball team late tonight take on Australia in the semifinals.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. i'm hoping i can actually work on getting some poems ready to be submitted sometime in the next few days.
