sometimes the days just all bleed together...

i finally got to sleep last night at 6 AM this morning. between all the shows on Tuesday, doing the dishes and taking a shower. my brain finally decided to tap out at 6 in the morning. at roughly 10:55 the phone rang. that woke me up. now, sadly, i have been running on piss poor sleep in my life for easily the last 40 years. it is part of the reason why i believe i will be dead before i even sniff 60 years old. and knowing that i am 47, i know the ticks on the clock are getting louder. but, i did get all the grocery shopping done today. and i had to make yet another trip to Rite Aid. that story will be a doozy here in a bit. but first...

the USMNT defeated Ghana last night, 4-0. that's more like it boys.

NXT was very good last night.

Inside the NFL was great last night.

both episodes of Welcome to Wrexham were good last night.

Name That Tune was pretty funny last night.

The Voice started the battle rounds last night.

Big Brother was really good last night.

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be AEW Dynamite, The Masked Singer and the part 1 finale of American Horror Story.

grocery shopping went pretty good today. mom had a bunch things on the list that she normally gets on Amazon. so, i knew damn well there was probably no chance of keeping this under $200 today. i was right. still saved over $40. so, in the middle of shopping at Kroger, i got a text message from Rite Aid saying i had a prescription ready. so, after i got all the groceries put away at home, i went to Rite Aid. there was a line 4 cars deep at the drive-thru, so i was hoping it wasn't going to be busy inside as well. thankfully, it wasn't. when the lady got my prescription she realized there was no pills in the bag the prescription was in. whomever filled the prescription left the bottle of pills on a shelf. i watched all this chuckling to myself, wondering how the hell is this company facing bankruptcy... thank god there was no charge for the pills.

i will probably be on here tomorrow after i get back from taking mom to physical therapy. i know i definitely want to get the blog done before the New Orleans Saints play tomorrow night.

i need to go make dinner, so that's all for me kids.

until tomorrow...

like a punch to the dick...

so, i was watching the New Orleans Saints play in Atlanta yesterday, while keeping one eye on the Rams vs. 49ers game. when the Rams were up 17-0, i really felt like the Saints were going to make the playoffs. of course, then Taysom Hill got hurt, again, and those positive thoughts went away. amazingly, Trevor Siemian played decent yesterday. the Saints beat the Falcons, 30-20. now, they just needed the Rams to defeat the 49ers to make the playoffs. the Rams pissed away that 17-0 lead and lost in OT, 27-24. i was gutted. and then of course, i saw the news that Bob Saget had died.

most people remember Bob Saget from the TV shows he was on. the Bob Saget i remember the most is being one of the dirtiest fucking comedians around. and it was a beautiful sight, watching a straight laced good tv dad just say the dirtiest shit you ever heard. thanks for all the laughs Bob. you will never be forgotten.

i did my laundry last night. i figured since it was cold again, i might need some clean warmer clothes to wear this week.

the finale of Dexter was great last night. i was pleased with how they ended the show this time around.

Yellowjackets was crazy last night. next week is the season finale.

Power Book II: Ghost was very good last night.

both episodes of The Righteous Gemstones were hilarious last night.

euphoria was amazing last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be two episodes of Kenan, That's My Jam and Monday Night Raw.

i did listen to episode 377 of Notsam Wrestling this morning. you can hear that by going here:

the New York Rangers play tonight at the Kings. they got Panarin back from COVID and now the head coach has it. joy.

i might watch some of the national championship game tonight between Alabama and Georgia.

Manchester United plays in the FA Cup today at home against Aston Villa. i'll miss most of the game because of my mother's doctor's appointment.

i'm not sure if they are going to make mom get another MRI or another scan done because of her head. that's part of the reason why i wanted to get the blog done now.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

until tomorrow kids...
