just a bit of luck, hopefully...

so, i went out today to get what i couldn't find yesterday. first off, i went to the bank to make a deposit. after that, i went to Big Lots as i had a 20% off coupon. of course, they had no baseball or football cards. i did find the Diet Coke my mother likes and these cookies she likes as well. after that, i went to Meijer. i found most of what i couldn't find yesterday. plus, i somehow found a box of 2021 Topps Stadium Club on the shelves. i snatched that as quick as i saw it. they usually only sell that shit on Saturday mornings. after that, i stopped by the Rite Aid close to the Kroger i go to. i did find the pills i couldn't find yesterday at the Rite Aid in town. plus, i did get a Fairfield box of baseball cards. there was about $10 worth of cards in that. then i went to Kroger to get the medication they didn't have ready yesterday. i was pretty much dead by the time i got back home. i'll open those Stadium Club cards later tonight. i'm hoping for some really good things inside the box.

AEW was really good last night.

Big Brother was crazy last night. i'm pretty sure Travis will get evicted tonight.

here are your highlights from Game 4 of the NBA Finals last night:

i did watch NXT UK right before starting this blog. it was an excellent show.

the USMNT plays Martinique in the Gold Cup tonight. hopefully, they will get a big win tonight.

the Yankees were supposed to play the Red Sox tonight but the game was postponed because of positive COVID tests on the Yankees. oh boy.

these old bones still want to see the sunshine on the other side of the world

we had a cold front come through last night and i've been completely miserable ever since. but the world doesn't stop for my misery, so neither can i.

i sent out 3 poems today to Oddball Magazine. when i hear back from them i'll pass on the verdict.

sometimes when i wake up in the morning, my left leg doesn't want to work. i'm supposing it's all the damn scar tissue i have in it. let me tell ya, between blood clots, arthritis and a bad back, i don't know which fucking jewel i'd like to give someone else first. so, what i try to do on these morning is go out and feed the birds. that way, if i fall, maybe one of these nosey ass neighbors will see and come help. good times.

i've been diving into plenty of music the last couple of days. i'll be sure to include links below to the FREE music i got from iTunes and NoiseTrade.

the New York Yankees broke out the long ball last night to help CC get his first win in over a year. the 11-5 win gives them the most wins in the American League. hopefully they can keep it going.

The Voice last night was pretty good. i thought the performances were good but i only bought one of the songs:
i'm interested to see who gets voted off tonight. i really think it will come down to Meghan and Sawyer to win it all.

Men in Blazers was pretty funny last night.

Monday Night Raw had some really good moments and some not so good. here's what i did like:
i'll give it up to Cena for really making the younger guys look so good. it still would be nice to see him lose on television at some point, but i'll take the small details for now.
Cesaro is a guy that should be one of the biggest stars in the world. here's hoping that some of the new guys on the creative staff push that idea big time.
if they do this right, this has comedy gold written all over it.

and i truly hope this isn't the last time i see this guy in a ring:

all in all, it was a decent show to go into a ppv this Sunday. i did like the announcement that the Elimination Chamber was coming back as well.

here's a little late night laughs for you:

and a sad music break:

tonight on the DVR will be Deadliest Catch, The Voice and the season finale of Undateable. hopefully it will be as good as the live episode was last week.

that's really all for me today. i need to shower and get some writing done. now, which will come first?

hope this finds everyone with a dirty thought in their mind and a cool drink in their hand.
