so, i woke up this morning and went out to the kitchen to do my blood sugar. i dropped the thing to prick my finger and it got another finger and i started bleeding. but, of course, it wasn't enough blood to get a reading. so, i still had to prick another finger to get enough blood. fuck me.
i did take mom to her eye doctor's appointment today. she had the same doctor i had a few weeks ago. she agreed with me that this place is way better than where we used to go. sadly, mom didn't get the news she was hoping for. her prescription hasn't really changed and it is due to her cornea. so, now we will have to go to see a specialist next month i think. i know mom wants to get the appointment changed since she doesn't want to drive 45 minutes to go see the specialist. so, i took her to McDonald's afterwards so she could get a frozen Coke.
the Yankees lost last night at the White Sox, 9-2. thank god they are off tonight. they start a series tomorrow in Miami against the Marlins.
AEW Dynamite was very good last night.
Big Brother was good last night. tonight's show should be interesting, especially if they show the footage of when they kicked the racist guy out of the house.

i went to Rite Aid this afternoon to get a prescription. thankfully, we've entered that stage of my insurance where my prescriptions are free now.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. if i can get my ass in gear, i am hoping to do some writing tomorrow.
we got another 1.5 inches of rain last night. we have had almost 4 inches of rain this week. hello pain.

i had to run out and get some prescriptions for my mother today. i made it back home before the contractors showed up to look at our kitchen. she asked what the weather was like and i told her it was probably 78 outside but it feels like 94. i knew she wanted to go walking later but that changed her mind completely. the meeting with the contractors went well. if the estimate is within what mom wants it to be, i feel like we have found the right people to do our kitchen.
the Yankees lost last night at the White Sox, 5-1. they are back in last place again and i am at the point where i couldn't give a shit anymore.
Monday Night Raw was good last night.
i did catch some of the highlights from the Leagues Cup last night. i'll probably watch some of that tonight as well.
