but a productive one, so far. got my copy of the book i did with Casey Renee Kiser in the mail today. i really can't wait for this to come out and be devoured by poetry lovers. it is really good.
speaking of poetry, i did write 1 poem today. i will be sending out some poems tonight. expect a blog late tonight on that.
i took mom to get her injection today. after that, i took her to get her Frozen Coke. we went back home and watched the USWNT win 3-0 over Zambia at the Olympics.
the Yankees got their asses handed to them last night, losing to the Mets, 12-3. they lost all 4 games to the Mets this season. first time in 11 years. thank fucking god they don't play tonight. they start a series in Boston tomorrow night.
AEW Dynamite was fucking crazy last night.
Big Brother was good last night. i have no damn clue who gets evicted tonight.

so, i managed to get a decent amount of sleep last night. i'm thinking that was due to the alcohol from the Yankees actually fucking winning a game. the pinched nerve in my neck and right shoulder does like to be an attention whore most of the time. but, i am an old pro at riding the waves of pain.
the Yankees won last night in Anaheim, 7-4. Aaron Judge hit his 51st HR of the season. he is 11 away now from setting the Yankees and American League record. hopefully, the Yankees will win the series tonight.
NXT was fucking great last night.

the grocery stores were a bit crowded today but i was able to get everything on the list.
now, i need to go cut down some tomato plants that were awful this year. way too hot and way too much humidity for any good tomatoes. i told mom we should only get 1 tomato plant next year and just grow roses in the other containers we have.
hopefully, i can get that done pretty quick. then, take a shower, make dinner and sit down for a night in front of the television.
of course, i'll need ice galore after i get all that done.
i think mom has a dental appointment tomorrow. i'm going to try to get the blog done before that, so i should be on here in the morning.
that will also be before Manchester United plays.
