okay, so now winter is here...

when the windchill makes it feel like it is in the single digits, to me at least, that means winter is here. and of course, i was out there in shorts getting the newspaper this morning. good times.

so, i mentioned to the muse last night that Sade had a new song out. you would have thought i told her that i just gave her a million dollars. that brought about a conversation that went to 3 in the morning. honestly, if this woman isn't the one i'm supposed to spend the rest of my life with, i am truly fucking doomed.

the New York Rangers pissed away a 2 goal lead in the 3rd period last night and lost to Detroit, 3-2 in OT. needless to say, i wasn't and still am not fucking happy about it. the Rangers play tonight in Columbus.

VICE was excellent last night.

Mike Judge Presents: Tales From the Tour Bus last night was great. i never knew about the connection between Rick James and Neil Young.

both episodes of Room 104 last night were fucking weird.

NJPW was good last night.

Real Time with Bill Maher was very funny last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Shut Up and Dribble, Saturday Night Live, Austin City Limits and ROH.

Ohio State plays at noon today at Michigan State. if Ohio State wants any chance to make the playoffs this year, they have to win today.

i don't know if mom is going to the Dayton game tonight against Coppin State. i do plan on going, even with the weather being this cold.

if for some reason i don't go to the game, i will probably try to get some writing done tonight.

i will be on here tomorrow before Manchester United plays. that game will go right into the New Orleans Saints game. and i know i won't get a blog done if i wait until both games are over.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday. call if you need bail money.

Incluso el alma más oscura todavía puede encontrar una luz.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...

you would think a holiday weekend is here or something...

the grocery store was a fucking zoo this afternoon. and just my luck, my back was hurting and my blood sugar dropped while i was in the store. good times.

i guess the muse is spending her holiday weekend on the west coast and my sister will be on the east coast. it must be nice.

the New York Yankees lost last night to the Tigers, 8-7. they had the lead going into the 9th inning, but Betances spit the bit for the first time in a long time. of course, i'm not sure why he was pitching the 9th and Britton was pitching the 8th. oh well, they have no fucking chance to catch Boston now anyway. the Yankees did make a trade after the game, finally getting an outfielder. it should help. of course, should is a very fine line these days. hopefully the Yankees win tonight.

the New Orleans Saints won last night over the Rams, 28-0.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of shows.

Big Brother went exactly as i thought it would last night. Faysal was evicted and Scottie won the Battle Back competition. late last night, Tyler won HOH.

Snowfall was fucking great last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be 2 episodes of NJPW and Random Acts of Flyness.

i will be on here in the morning tomorrow. Ohio State plays at noon tomorrow and the day is only going to get busier from there.

i hope everyone has a great weekend. hopefully the weather is nice for your holiday.

death is in the air...

when i saw the news about Aretha Franklin being gravely ill from cancer, my first thought was how celebrities tend to die in threes. then, i saw the news about Jim "The Anvil" Neidhart passing away at just 63 years old. probably one of my favorite wrestling heels from my youth and probably why i still wear my goatee like i do. Aretha isn't dead yet, as of me writing this, so who knows who the three will be.

i wrote 3 poems yesterday. i typed them up and really like them.

my left leg was still bothering me last night. this morning, i spilled hot coffee on it (not on purpose) and felt nothing. i'm wondering now how much of my leg is actually dead. good times.

the New York Yankees won yesterday against Texas, 7-2. they play a make up game tonight against the Mets at home. hopefully they can win tonight and get to 32 games over .500.

Big Brother was pretty good last night. of course, mom and i were watching in the living room and the television just died during the show. i believe the tv was just 10 years old. it almost reminded me of my youth when a picture tube would just go out in the old televisions. it still comes on, but no damn picture. joy. so, of course, mom broke out her consumer reports today to figure out the best television to buy. or, how i like to call it, paralysis by analysis.

Power was excellent last night.

Sharp Objects was really good last night.

Ballers was pretty funny last night.

Insecure was excellent last night. the muse was shocked that i actually watch this show. that made me laugh. if she actually paid attention to what i watch, she would realize i'm probably closer to being black than i am to being white.

Last Week Tonight was fucking hilarious, as usual.

The Affair was heartbreaking last night. the season finale next week should be another gut punch.

Who is America? was fucking ridiculous last night.

Our Cartoon President was hilarious last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight and Rest in Power: The Trayvon Martin Story. i'll be watching Monday Night Raw for most of the evening.

i mailed the cd i made for the muse today at the post office. now, the true waiting game begins. i have no clue if she actually wrote a letter to me this weekend or not. i'm not going to ask her. it wouldn't do my ego any good for the answer to be shit, i forgot.

i'll be on here sometime tomorrow after i take mom to her eye doctor's appointment. i'm hoping she just needs a new prescription for her glasses. if it's more than that, then it will be time for surgery yet again. joy.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

¿Alguien realmente está sorprendido de que el presidente sea jodidamente estúpido?
