a long day

 so, the rain woke me up at 7 this morning. considering i went to bed a little after 3 AM, i figured i might as well just get going with my day. the laundry i wanted to do for mom on the weekend she finally let me do today. joy. and between my bad back and the arthritis, i really can't wait to drink myself to death one day. good times.

the Yankees lost last night to the Mets, 3-2. thankfully, they made a trade after the game was over that should provide a little spark to the team.

the Red Scare won again last night in the TBT. they are 3 wins away from a million dollars. this is the farthest they have ever gone in this tournament.

AEW Dynamite was excellent last night.

Big Brother was really good last night. i think i'm really going to enjoy The Leftovers alliance and the show tonight should be excellent. i always love a good blindside.

on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Big Brother, two episodes of The Captain and NJPW. i watched NXT UK earlier today. it was excellent.

i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

odds and ends to start the weekend...

first off, a little poetry news to get out of the way. i heard back from Live Nude Poems on my poetry submission from last month. they decided to pass on the poems i sent. oh well.

the New York Yankees lost again last night, 5-1. the offense has gone missing the last few days. the game today already got postponed due to rain. they will play a doubleheader tomorrow, with the second game being the game they will retire Derek Jeter's number 2.

VICE was fascinating last night. i remember an old Ron & Fez bit on when the robots learn to think, we as humans are done with. i guess we are at that point now.

NJPW was excellent last night.

Real Time with Bill Maher was great as usual last night.

i only watched a little bit of Nashville vs. Anaheim last night. i doubt i will watch much of Pittsburgh vs. Ottawa tonight. the Rangers loss still stings a bit.

i guess my sister will be down here tonight. well, she'll be getting here tonight. she'll be in town hours before then.
