up too early on a Saturday...

i wish i could have one Saturday in my adult life where i could just sleep in for most of the day. i know some of you just said that is what death is for, and while i agree, maybe just a few hours more than 4 would do me a great deal.

Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both pretty good last night.

AEW Rampage and Battle of the Belts 5 were both really good last night.

Young Rock was pretty funny last night.

the New York Knicks won last night in Toronto, 112-108.

here are your NBA highlights from last night:

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Austin City Limits.

Manchester United won 3-1 over Everton yesterday in the FA Cup.

the New York Rangers play this afternoon at New Jersey. hopefully the boys will find a way to win.

so, i felt a little lucky last night and bought some lottery tickets. i finally found a legit app that you can buy tickets on. sadly, i didn't win anything from the Mega Millions draw last night. i've got some numbers in the Powerball draw tonight.

i will probably watch some football games later today. Chiefs at Raiders and Titans at Jaguars.

i need to do my laundry today, pay mom's bills, vacuum the house and somewhere find a few minutes to take a nap. good times.

i'll probably be on here in the morning tomorrow, most likely.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday.

until tomorrow kids...

bring on the weekend...

i went into the kitchen this morning and nearly screamed it was so fucking cold. luckily, i didn't as my sister was still sleeping in the next room. the insulation we put in has helped, but our kitchen has like 9 fucking windows. i bet all of them are allowing heat to leak out. good times.

the Dayton Flyers were without Charles Cooke again last night. so when Rhode Island got out to an early 10 point lead, it was what i expected. thankfully, Dayton decided they weren't about to get punk'd at home. they battled and battled and eventually took the lead for good in the second half. Dayton made just enough free throws down the stretch to win the game 67-64. i loved the victory mostly because i can't fucking stand Rhode Island's coach, such a whiny piece of shit. Dayton is now 3-0 in conference play. hopefully they can keep it going. they next play at UMass on Wednesday.

Vice News Tonight had another great week of reporting.

i got up early this morning to watch Manchester United take on Reading in the 3rd round of the FA Cup. United got off to a great start, with Wayne Rooney scoring his 249th goal for the club. he draws level with Sir Bobby Charlton's record. Anthony Martial scored a few minutes later. Marcus Rashford scored two in the second half for a 4-0 victory.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Bright Lights: Starring Carrie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds, MTV Live Setlist: St. Paul & The Broken Bones and ROH.

the New York Rangers play tonight at Columbus. i'd love to see the Rangers win this important divisional game.

i'll spend most of the day watching some college basketball and the NFL playoffs as well.

i guess i should venture out into the cold and get the morning paper.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday. call if you need bail money.

oh how i missed you crown royal

i dropped the ball last night. i completely forgot that American Horror Story was on. thankfully, my DVR didn't forget. talk about a stunning episode to set up the finale. i was on the edge of my chair the entire episode. i can't wait for the finale.

the Dayton Flyers were without one of their key players last night. i guess Kendall Pollard strained his Achilles the day before and they were being extra cautious with him, as he sat on the bench in a walking boot. it was his 21st birthday as well. last year, this would have meant doom for the Flyers. this year, oh well. Dayton destroyed UMass 93-63. Dayton had 6 players score in double figures and were able to rest their starters for much of the second half. it was so nice to finally see a blowout. Dayton next plays on Saturday at La Salle.

we went to Waffle House after the game. we were the only ones there. i might have a poem or two about that later on, not sure. when we got home, instead of a victory beer i decided to make a mixed drink. so i broke out a bottle of crown royal i've been meaning to open and some coke. after the first few sips, i remember why i used to drink crown and coke all the time when i was younger. instead of really fucking me up, it always was like an energy drink. that could explain why i was up at 4 in the morning watching wrestling.

NXT was another best of show. i believe next week will be the results of the voting for the 2015 best of's. hopefully there will be some new shows before too long.

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

tonight on the DVR will be WWE Smackdown, The Big Bang Theory, Life in Pieces and Lip Sync Battle.

i believe mom and i are going to the grocery store here in a few minutes. i'm down to 2 bottles of beer and the freezer is almost barren. i think we need to buy some things.

the injury bug has bitten my fantasy hockey team once again. and just as i have reached the top 4 in the league. so now i'm in scramble mode. i'm not sure yet how i feel about one of my defensemen being traded to Columbus. it might help his ice time, but i know his plus/minus is going to go to shit.

i got the autograph i bought from Steiner Sports in the mail today. i can't wait to find a frame for it and get it up on a wall. i'll take a picture of it once i do that.

that's all for me kids. i'll be on here tomorrow sometime in the afternoon most likely.

i hope this finds everyone with a tall glass of wine, a good book and a dirty thought.
