sure, the sun is shining but that wind...

the winds of winter returned to the area today. this is why i love Ohio. wait 15 minutes and everything will fucking change and in a few days, you'll be fucking sick. i did some shopping today, most of it was shit i wanted to get done yesterday. of course, Meijer didn't have what i was looking for, so i got myself a birthday present, Deadpool Funko Pop. before that, i made a nice big deposit at the bank. mom gave me my birthday money early. i thanked her as most of that is going to go to the medical bill coming for my procedure done last November. i got some gas for the Highlander today and then went to get mom's pills from the pharmacy. that was only $500 fucking dollars worth of pills. the pharmacist nearly shit herself when she saw how much it cost. i think she was even more shocked when i was able to pay for it with a credit card. i love when people look at me and think i'm poor as shit. i'm poor, but i'm a smart fucker who knows how to play the credit card game.

NXT was pretty good last night.

AEW was very good last night.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Young Sheldon, The Unicorn, Will & Grace and Perfect Harmony. i'll watch NXT UK sometime tonight on WWE Network.

the New York Rangers play at the New York Islanders tonight. i'd love to see the Rangers win again against that team.

i should be on here tomorrow after i get the grocery shopping done. i guess my sister is coming down for the weekend to celebrate my birthday. and with winter coming back this weekend, this should be fun.

until tomorrow kids...

not the way i wanted this day to start

when i shut my eyes at 2 in the morning, i knew i was going to be up in 4 hours. that's not sleep, that's a fucking nap. but, i was up at 6 and ready to go. sadly, i can't say the same for Manchester United.

if the boys would have been simply clinical today, they would have beat Stoke City by 4 or 5 goals. instead, they pissed around and gave up a late equalizer that will leave me fucking furious for the rest of the damn day.

the New York Yankees showed a little pride yesterday, beating Baltimore 7-3. hopefully the Yankees win today and make Baltimore have to wait to see if they are actually in the playoffs or not. thankfully, today is the last game of the season and most likely the last day i will give a shit about baseball.

the New York Rangers lost last night, 5-4 to the Devils. i guess the good thing is it looks like this year's team might actually be able to score. that's a welcome change from the past.

Ohio State destroyed Rutgers yesterday 58-0. honestly, i don't think it was even that close. congrats to J.T. Barrett on setting the Ohio State record for touchdown passes.

there was some crazy ass college football games yesterday. all in all, it's why i love the sport.

i finally got to watch Deadpool. i can see why it is the highest grossing rated R movie of all time. it was fucking hilarious, start to finish. i probably rank it as my 3rd favorite movie of all time, only behind Fight Club and Pulp Fiction.

ROH was excellent last night. always interesting to watch pro wrestling in a baseball stadium.

Austin City Limits was pretty good last night. hard to imagine this was the first time Paul Simon has ever been on the show.

Saturday Night Live was really fucking funny last night. a good way to start off a new season.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Westworld, Last Week Tonight, The Strain, Shameless and Masters of Sex.

the New Orleans Saints play at San Diego later today. i've picked against them this week, hoping they might finally fucking win.

i'm not favored in either of my fantasy football matches, no surprise there.

i wrote 5 poems yesterday while enjoying my victory beer after the Ohio State game. i typed them up and i really, really like a few of them. i think i'm going to get another submission ready for next week probably.

i hope everyone had a great Saturday. may your Sunday be even better.

hello October

i keep my television on when i'm falling asleep. a little noise tends to help me dream. my television turns off after 4 hours. it's never a good thing when i wake up and it's still on. this morning was one of those. apparently it rained overnight. i checked the rain gauge this morning and it was well over 1 inch. if it doesn't rain again before the weekend ends, i guarantee some asshole will be out here mowing grass.

the New York Yankees played like a team that has nothing to play for and was being forced to play in the fucking rain last night. they lost 8-1. sadly, Baltimore's magic number is now 2, so there's a likely chance they will be celebrating on the field one of these last two days.

i didn't watch much of the college football game last night as Washington destroyed Stanford, 44-6.

NJPW was excellent last night.

High Maintenance was very funny last night. i imagine if i would have been high, a complete episode told from the perspective of a dog would have been fucking hilarious.

enjoy some music:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be Saturday Night Live, ROH, Austin City Limits and Deadpool.

Ohio State plays Rutgers this afternoon. hopefully, they used the bye week to rest and get ready for the Big Ten schedule.

i will be watching the game tonight between Clemson and Louisville. that should (hopefully) be a great one.

i will probably be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays. they play really early in the morning tomorrow.

i hope everyone has a great Saturday. take it easy and then take it again.
