i suppose it could always be worse...

i was hoping to get this blog done before the Manchester United game today, as i knew i'd be a bit pissy if the game went as i thought it would. of course, it did. United lost to Liverpool 2-0. the much worse news in my eyes is the injury news for Marcus Rashford. stress fractures in his back and a loose bone in his ankle. i figure once he has the surgeries, his season might as well be over. that opens up the big question here in the January transfer window; will United bring anyone in? i doubt it, and if that is the case, then Mason Greenwood should take his place and start all the fucking games. i doubt they do that either. my best guess is the owners are fine with this fucking mediocrity and will do nothing. joy.

i did watch a ton of college basketball yesterday. there were so many upsets, i think there's a decent chance that Dayton may end up in the top 10 tomorrow. if so, that would be the first time since 1967.

Austin City Limits was really good and weird last night.

the New York Rangers play tonight at home against Columbus. i'd love to see to the Rangers win again.

i do plan on watching the AFC and NFC championship games today. first up is the Titans at the Chiefs. the second game is the Packers at the 49ers. winners go to the Super Bowl.

i hope everyone had a good Saturday. i hope your Sunday is even better.

i will be on here tomorrow sometime between doing loads of my laundry.

i guess we're celebrating my birthday today whenever my sister gets back here. joy.
