well, i at least tossed and turned for nearly 6 hours...

i just love getting to bed exhausted at 4:30 in the morning and then seeing the clock every 20 minutes or so for the next few hours. it's a recipe to ensure i die before 50 i suppose. joy.

the New York Yankees lost yesterday to Toronto, 5-4. i'm hoping they win today to split the series.

NXT Takeover: Toronto was really, really good last night and then the main event was HOLY FUCKING SHIT great. if that was Johnny Gargano's last match in NXT, what a way to go out. i will go ahead and say it now, i doubt SummerSlam tonight is anywhere near as good as Takeover was.

NJPW was excellent last night. i'm so happy that Ibushi won the A Block.

ROH was good last night.

on the DVR tonight will be Succession, Last Week Tonight, Big Brother and City on a Hill. i'll be watching WWE SummerSlam for most of the evening.

Manchester United plays Chelsea here in a bit. i have no clue what to expect from United this season. i do believe they have improved their defense, but i'm not sure if addition by subtraction on offense is going to lead to the best results. hopefully, they get a big first win of the season today.
