i think the wind chill was in the single digits today. i guess it was a good day for the company we use for heating and air to check our old ass furnace today. the guy was somewhat shocked the air filter looked as good as it did. it still runs well for being old, amazingly. the first two of mom's Christmas gifts showed up today. now i hope the other 3 will get here before Christmas. two are coming from foreign countries, so i know the chances are low that they will actually get here in 20 days. fuck, Christmas in 20 days. time does fucking fly the closer you get to death.
so, i got some good news last night from The Rye Whiskey Review. i'm not going to spoil it until it is posted there, but it certainly gave me an interesting night of dreams.
The Masked Singer was crazy as usual last night.
AEW Dynamite was good last night.
both episodes of Abbott Elementary were hilarious last night.
Inside the NFL was good last night.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Georgie & Mandy's First Marriage and NJPW.
i will probably watch some of the NFL game tonight between Green Bay and Detroit.
i'm also planning on doing some writing tonight. i'd love to be able to crank out a good batch of poems so i can get some submissions out next week.
i have no clue when i will be on here tomorrow. if i truly get my ass in gear, it might be after i make a trip to the post office.
until tomorrow kids...

i think i got a little sleep last night. i was almost too tired to masturbate. almost. when i got up this morning, it was just before Manchester United and Everton was getting ready to play. more on that in a bit.
when Dayton got down 17 to VCU yesterday, i was pissed. thankfully, Dayton calmed down, started getting stops and started making shots. Dayton didn't lead in the game until there was 5 minutes left in the second half. Dayton won last night, 91-86 in OT. Dayton finished the season undefeated at home. VCU will get the 5th seed in the A10 tournament.
Smackdown and NXT Level Up were both very good last night.
AEW Rampage was good last night.
Real Time with Bill Maher was hilarious last night.
Manchester United won 2-0 this morning over Everton. honestly, Everton was the better team for most of the game, but United won two penalties and Bruno and Rashford both scored.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be AEW Collision and Saturday Night Live.
the New York Rangers play tonight at home against the Blues.
i'm sure i will watch plenty of sports today.
a big thank you to everyone for checking out my latest published poems:
i'm back in the cycle of my brain never shutting off at night. i've tried different music, i've tried no light, some light. i've tried different positions. i suppose now i have to go to illegal drugs to see if i can get at least 6 hours of fucking sleep without being awake the entire time. i could see if i was just fucking stressed out or something, but i'm not. part of me thinks this is all my body "celebrating" the 10 year anniversary of when i should have died. and as much as i want to believe i survived a blood clot that was my entire left leg and 60 pulmonary embolisms in my lungs because i still had a purpose, it's hard to see what that is 10 years later. i can't imagine it was because the world still need a few dirty poems to make it laugh.
i went to the bank today to make a deposit. the woman that i have written about wasn't working. figures. after that, i went to the grocery store to pick up some prescriptions. it's fucking humid as hell outside.
the New York Yankees survived some shitty defense last night to defeat Boston 3-2. that postpones Boston's division title for at least a night. hopefully, they can do the same again tonight.
Smackdown was really good last night.
The Jim Jefferies Show was fucking hilarious last night.
Mayans M.C. was excellent last night, especially the ending.
enjoy some music:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Vice News Tonight, Lucha Underground, Big Brother, Mr. Mercedes, American Horror Story and Total Divas. i'll watch NXT, 205 Live and Mae Young Classic sometime tonight on WWE Network.
the New York Rangers play at home tonight in a pre-season game against Philadelphia.
Manchester United plays this afternoon in the Champions League. i'm going to try to find the game online since it's not on television here.
i'm going to try to be on here in the morning tomorrow before i have to take mom back to Best Buy to drop off her laptop. i think she needs a new battery for it. plus, she forgot to tell them yesterday that she wants them to take the old television when they deliver the new one on Saturday. and since i told her to get the whole home protection plan when she got the new television, having them take the old television is going to be $85 cheaper now.
hopefully, i will have 3 drinks in my hands late tonight celebrating 3 victories. it hardly ever works out that way, but a guy can dream.
until tomorrow kids.
