been a productive few days i suppose...

 since we don't really do much for the 4th of July, i did my laundry yesterday, including my bedding. mom got me some funky sheets with skulls on them, so i decided it was time to put those on. and mom liked the holiday meal i put together. double cheeseburgers with coleslaw, mac salad and her favorite potato salad. and i guess everyone around here must have used up their fireworks before the 4th as there wasn't much last night, thankfully. 

the New York Yankees won yesterday at home against Baltimore, 8-4. hopefully, they will win again tonight.

i did watch a good portion of El Trafico last night. it is one of the best rivalries in the MLS.

i did watch some of the Gold Cup last night as well. the quarterfinals are now set.

on Saturday, Panama plays Qatar and Mexico plays Costa Rica. On Sunday, USA will play Canada and Guatemala will take on Jamaica.

i did watch the Hot Dog eating contest yesterday. i thought at first it was going to be rained out, but it just went on later in the day.

i did see that Manchester United signed Mason Mount today from Chelsea.

grocery shopping went ok today. it was hotter than hell today, so i figured people would be in shitty moods. and i was right.

i need to get going on dinner and picking up the trash, etc.

i am going to try to be on here in the morning tomorrow before mom has physical therapy.

Happy 4th of July...

 so, first off, i want to wish everyone a safe and happy 4th of July.

i was hoping to get up earlier today, but apparently the shower i took at 2 in the morning actually did the trick. i didn't get up until 10 this morning. i know i got at least 6 solid hours of sleep. fuck, that might as well be a coma for me.

happy 4th of July...

i would say happy independence day, bu that would only be for the people who are independent and not everyone. and if you have to think about what i just said, please wake the fuck up already.

i was breaking down some boxes for mom yesterday to recycle and the comedy of errors began. first off, i somehow split my underwear in the crotch. and then i cut my fucking middle finger right on the damn nerve. that should be a lovely scar. joy.

Smackdown and 205 Live were both pretty good last night.

i cut off most of my goatee last night, mostly so my mask would fit better. it looks pretty funky right now.

Manchester United won today 5-2. that's the most goals they have scored at home since 2011. it's like the old days again... hopefully the roll will continue until the end of the season.

i did watch the hot dog eating contest today. sadly, that's probably the only 4th of July tradition i have.
