been a long day...

 i always love when i don't get to bed until after 5 in the morning. at least this time, i actually slept past 10. of course, i woke up with the arthritis in my left ankle raging and my right hand was asleep. makes no fucking sense. i didn't get to check my emails until the afternoon. thankfully, i only had 380. 

the New York Rangers lost last night at home to Carolina, 4-0.

the Dayton Flyers lost last night at Saint Bonaventure, 75-53. i didn't watch any of the game and judging by the score, i saved myself plenty of stress.

NXT was very good last night.

St. Denis Medical was hilarious last night.

grocery shopping was ok today for the most part. i tried to get everything on the list, but some shit wasn't on sale and i was like, i can go without it for a week or so. at least i kept it under $250 between the two stores.

that being said, i have no fucking clue what i'm making for dinner tonight. mom's got all her issues with her gut again, and i have no damn clue what she can eat, etc.

so, i'm going to go ice my back down and try to figure out a dinner.

i will be on here tomorrow after Manchester United plays in the Europa League.

i have no patience for incompetence...

it's always the little things that people do that drive me fucking crazy at times. for instance, my doctor's appointment today was to get my third shot for my Hepatitis B vaccine. i told 3 different people about it and they all marked it down, but who was the one who didn't... the nurse practitioner. so when the woman came in to give me my flu shot, i told her i was supposed to also get the Hep B shot and she looked at me like i had three heads. she then got into my file and sure enough i was right (imagine that) and she then had to go find the one that had to enter it to sign off on it. this was supposed to be a 30 minute appointment today. i was in the place for over 60 minutes. i get to have an EMG so we can finally figure out where the pinched nerve is. i also have to get 2 x-rays of my spine done. joy.

i raced home because mom wanted to get her haircut today. we went. i'm not thrilled with my results, but i also don't really give two shits how i look anymore. mom for some reason wanted Wendy's after that. there's one on the way home from the strip mall we got our haircuts at, so we got food there and brought it home.

i'm running on roughly 4 hours of sleep at the moment. i stayed up late to finish that country music documentary on PBS. i watched all 8 episodes. it was worth my time.

the New York Yankees lost last night down in Tampa, 4-0. they only had 1 hit in the game. they are off tonight and start the final series of the regular season against the Texas Rangers tomorrow night.

NXT and NXT UK were both really fucking good last night.

the season finale of Big Brother went as i expected. Michie won 6-3 over Holly. i thought it was a little shitty, but i did laugh, when they told Michie right before he won how America viewed him as a racist and a woman hater for his actions this season.

American Horror Story was excellent last night.

Cake was fucking great last night. i think i am really going to enjoy this show.

The Masked Singer was really good last night. i went 1 for 2 on my guesses.

so, my bright ass got on iTunes last night because i have avoided it for a week or so. next thing i know, it's 4 AM and i really need to sleep. but, i wasn't tired. so i was up at 6 and then again at 7:30. it was at that point that i said fuck it, and just decided i'm up for the day. needless to say, i will crash like a motherfucker after the USA vs. Germany game today.

while i wish FIFA would have banned that dirty fuck Suarez for life, 9 international matches and 4 months is better than i thought they would do.

since we're on the topic, here's your World Cup recap... Argentina beat Nigeria 3-2 in a very entertaining game. Bosnia-Herzegovina defeated Iran 3-1. Switzerland beat Honduras 3-0 and France and Ecuador played to a 0-0 draw, even though that game should have had many goals in it. that sets up Argentina vs. Switzerland and France vs. Nigeria in the knockout round.

today, Group G is really all that matters. Portugal plays Ghana. USA vs. Germany i hope will be a really good game, as i believe both teams won't be playing for a draw. in other action, Belgium plays South Korea and Algeria plays Russia. today will be the last day of group play. hopefully, i'll find a knockout round bracket that i can fit on here for tomorrow.

the Yankees actually won last night, 5-3. that victory beer was a little unexpected. they have today off, thankfully. today happens to be Derek Jeter's 40th birthday. that makes me feel really old. they play tomorrow night against the Red Sox.

i did watch Big Brother last night. of the first 8 house guests, i can easily see me hating all of these people by the end of the summer. the other 8 get revealed tonight. i don't mind the "new" twists so far. i'm sure that will change as the producers usually find a way to fuck something up.

Wilfred was great last night. i wish i still smoked pot, i would have enjoyed it more.

and i saw the commercial that The Bridge is coming back to FX on July 9th. i can't wait. of course, it will be on that the same time as Wilfred on FXX, so i will have to figure that out somehow.

now i have a decision to make... do i go into town and get the mail and feed the cats before or after the game?

after a trip to the store this evening, i believe i will be watching the NBA Draft, at least parts of it i guess.

hope this finds everyone well. if you're an American and not skipping work to watch the game today, FUCK YOU. the best thing is i will be drinking as long as one of the teams win. i do hope is the USA loses they will still qualify for the knockout round. it certainly would be less entertaining for me if they don't.
