sometimes the poems just flow like a river

i just got done writing 5 more poems. what i've been trying here lately is when i have time to kill, just grab a notebook and start writing. nothing really has to be on my mind. just put on some music and let whatever flow. the first poem of course was about Paris. i'm really interested to see where the war on terror goes from here; with France being dragged into it and now the group Anonymous has declared war on ISIS as well. as a poet, these are very interesting times my friend.

the New Orleans Saints defense last year was horrific. somehow, they have managed to get worse this season. the game with the Redskins yesterday was actually tied at 14 at one point. when you see the final score of 47-14, you would never know the Saints were actually in the game. thank fucking god, they are supposedly firing the defensive coordinator today. that should have happened last season. good thing is, there's only one direction to go from here. and that's up. thankfully, they are on a bye this coming week.

the New York Rangers extended their winning streak last night to 9 with a 4-3 win over the Maple Leafs. you know things are going well when shit like this happens:
and my favorite troll was just named the #2 star for the week:
even though his performance killed me last night in fantasy hockey. oh well. i'll take the Rangers win and enjoy the victory beer.

the Sunday night shows were excellent last night. Homeland had another very interesting ending. The Affair showed why i haven't written a novel yet. it's not that i'm scared of success, it's all the bullshit that comes with it i could do without. and once again, Last Week Tonight hit one out of the park:

enjoy some music kids:

and now some of this and that:

on the DVR tonight will be The Voice and Gotham. i'll be flipping between Monday Night Football and Monday Night Raw. plus i believe it is Undertaker week on WWE Network.

i'm not really looking forward to my doctor's appointment today. i figure he'll probably make me go to physical therapy which will be interesting to figure out how i'm going to do that without a vehicle. plus, i don't want to leave mom alone that much as she is getting much more prone to falling. but, i also know my pain tolerance isn't going to stay high forever. good times.

i'll be on here tomorrow after the Dayton Flyers play against Alabama. the game is at 1 PM. it's part of the ESPN 24 hour college basketball kickoff. mom isn't going as the chemo class for my uncle is that morning. so, i will be at the game by myself. that should be interesting. whenever i'm in public alone i usually become the creepy guy off to the side just observing everyone. it's a great tool for a writer. it's horrible if you want to fit in. thank fucking god i never wanted that.

i hope everyone had a great weekend. wish me well, i think i'm going to need it. i'm off to the shower and/or take a giant shit. hopefully one happens before the other. i'll let you decide the order.

be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.

peace and chicken grease...
