Ohio State struggled with Cardale Jones at QB, much like i figured they would. thankfully, he got better as the game went along. the defense played great for most of the game. sadly, human nature took over when Ohio State got up 21-0 and they took their foot off of the neck of Minnesota. so the final score of 28-14 looks closer than most of the game truly was.
the New York Rangers were about 5 seconds away from a shutout last night. Antti Raanta has been absolutely spectacular in net this year. he had 39 saves last night. and the Rangers got some balanced scoring and actually scored on the power play. i'll gladly take a 4-1 win on the second night of a back to back road game. they are off to Tuesday.
Saturday Night Live was mostly awful last night. the best thing on the show was Sia.
Austin City Limits was excellent. TV on the Radio is one of my favorite bands.
ROH was great last night and this morning as i watched it again. the main event between The Briscoes vs. ANX was excellent.
enjoy some music kids:
and now some of this and that:
on the DVR tonight will be Homeland, The Affair and Last Week Tonight.
the New Orleans Saints will hopefully extend their winning streak today against the Titans. the game is in New Orleans, so i like their chances of winning.
i'm at 5-5 so far this week in fantasy hockey. to take the best team in the league to the final day of the week and be tied is a good step forward for me. although, i do not believe in moral victories.
i am interested to see how my fantasy football turns out this week. the last thing i want is to start a losing streak.
that's all for me kids. i've got a Sunday paper to read and some soccer in Europe i want to watch before i settle in for a long day of NFL action.
i hope everyone had a great Saturday night. hopefully it involved some laughs and no regrets. i hope your Sunday is even better.
be well. be creative. be cool. be quick to send me CASH, panties, hate mail, love letters, broken promises and dirty pennies from heaven.
peace and chicken grease...
