 for most of today, the feels like temperature outside has been over 100 degrees. good times.

i did make it to Menards yesterday. managed to get everything on the list and spend under $100.

the Yankees lost yesterday 6-5 at home to Boston and got swept for the second straight series. they have lost 8 straight games, which is their longest losing streak since 1995. thank god they are off tonight.

the New Orleans Saints won last night at the Chargers, 22-17.

Big Brother was pretty good last night.

Heels was very good last night.

Billions was excellent last night.

The Chi was great last night.

i did catch some of the MLS games last night.

welcome to the weekend...

 today has been a long one. i got my usual 4 hours of sleep, but it has been raining on and off for most of the day. so, my arthritis has been fucking raging. joy. i did take mom to get her injection. after that, i had to go to Rite Aid to get my prescription. amazingly, the guy that mows our lawn found a dry hour to get that done today. 

the New York Yankees lost last night at home to Seattle, 10-2. they start a series tonight at home against the Texas Rangers.

the guy that came out to give us an estimate for our kitchen seemed pretty cool. if we go with him, the kitchen will look very different than it does now. i'm not opposed to that.

NJPW was really good last night.

i did watch the NBA Draft last night. i was so happy with pick #52...

time for the Super Bowl...

 so, i got up this morning and went right back to bed. it seems like anytime i go to bed before 3 AM, i am up sometime before 7. i eventually got out of bed around 7:45. i made cinnamon rolls this morning. i figure since it is Super Bowl Sunday, it will be a day of grazing for the most part. we had some pork last night. i'm going to turn the leftovers into nachos today. and i've got two different kinds of chicken for today, so i think we're set.

the New York Rangers won last night in Carolina, 6-2. Artemi Panarin scored 4 goals last night. that was beautiful to watch.

the New York Knicks won at home last night over Utah, 126-120.

i won all my NBA bets last night. i didn't do as well in college basketball and the NHL sadly. i got a few bets on soccer, hockey and basketball today. the majority of my bets are on the Super Bowl. hopefully, i will have a profitable day.

Manchester United won today at Leeds, 2-0. Rashford and Garnacho both scored in the second half. the win puts United in second place for the time being. 

i really don't care who wins the Super Bowl today between the Chiefs and Eagles. i'm just hoping for a high scoring game and for my parlay bets to hit.
