there is a storm brewing inside of my head...

 i had a conversation with the spanish princess the other night that has had quite the lasting impression on my brain. i've been trying to cobble a poem together and i have a few words strung together and then the engine just quits working. so, there is this tension brewing, and i know damn well the only way to "fix" it is with an explosion. so, i'm bracing for that and hoping i can get most of it down on the blank page. welcome to life as a poet. especially when you haven't quite figured out how to get out of your own fucking way.

the Yankees lost yesterday at the Royals, 5-2. they finished the season 82-80.and of course, it looks like most of the coaches will be back next season, so i guess they are now the living embodiment of insanity.

the New Orleans Saints lost at home yesterday to Tampa Bay, 26-9. thank god i didn't see much of the game.

Big Brother was good last night.

Billions was excellent last night.

Power Book IV: Force was crazy last night.

Last Week Tonight was fucking hilarious. so happy it is back now.

i did take mom to the foot doctor today. after that, she wanted to go to JoAnn Fabrics. she found a few things she wanted. 

i will probably watch a little of the NFL game tonight between Seattle and the Giants.

mom moved her doctor's appointment tomorrow morning until an afternoon in November. so, maybe i'll actually get some writing done tomorrow.

i hope everyone had a great weekend.

i will hopefully be on here tomorrow before Manchester United plays in the Champions League.

up too early on a Sunday morning...

 i was up at 7 this morning. i didn't sleep well, mostly because it rained most of the night. the ache i feel anymore in my bones, it is screaming for illegal drugs. i get the feeling an accidental overdose might be the last horizon of fun i have on this earth. 

i did go to Lowe's yesterday and got a few things for the tomatoes. i'm hoping the bamboo stakes i got are going to work. after that, i went to Big Lots hoping to find some cards. i had a $5 off coupon i wanted to use. thankfully, i found 2 packs of 2021 Topps Heritage and 2 packs of 2021 Score football. the best card in the Heritage packs was a Mike Trout card. the best card in Score packs was a Trevor Lawrence rookie card.

the Yankees won last night in Houston, 1-0. Gerrit Cole pitched a complete game, three hit shutout. Aaron Judge hit a solo home run and trolled Altuve perfectly as he rounded third base. i'm hoping the Yankees get the sweep this afternoon.

ROH was very good last night.

Argentina defeated Brazil last night, 1-0, to win the Copa America. Messi finally won something for his country. it was the first time Argentina won a big tournament since 1993. it was also the first time Brazil lost a Copa America that was being held in Brazil.

the Euro 2020 final is today. England is trying to end 55 years of misery. i would love to see them do it, but i have been riding Italy the entire tournament and i'm not going to stop now.

the USMNT plays Haiti tonight as they start in the Gold Cup. 

Game 3 of the NBA Finals is tonight as well. hopefully, i'll catch some of that.

i didn't watch Judas and the Black Messiah last night. i'm saving it in case we get storms today like they are saying we will. then i'll watch the movie when the satellite is out.

i should be on here in the morning tomorrow, most likely.
