one of the worst nights in a long time...

 between the fucking tornados all around here last night. the Dayton Flyers finding a new way to lose AGAIN and the New York Rangers pissing away a 2-0 lead last night... talk about one of those nights where there isn't enough alcohol in the world to drink that fucker away...

the tornados were really bad last night. the worst ones were well north of me. those actually killed people. thankfully, especially by the lake, if this would have been on or near a summer holiday, it would have been even worse.

the Dayton Flyers lost last night in the A10 tournament to Duquesne, 65-57. once again, Dayton played down to their competition. i'm not sure why they still do this 31 games into a fucking season... supposedly, they are a lock for the NCAA tournament. so, i guess the A10 will now get two teams in.

the New York Rangers lost last night at Tampa Bay, 6-3. i hope they know if they ever want to win a Stanley Cup or even get to the finals again, they are going to have to beat the Lightning when it fucking matters.

Young Sheldon was pretty funny. i had to watch that this morning on Paramount+.

NJPW was really good last night.

so, i tried to order pizza last night for dinner. all Pizza Hut had was thin crust pizza. i said fuck that. so, we ended up finishing off the chicken from the night before and having a little bit of carrot cake for dessert.

mom's trip to get her injection today went well. i wrote 3 poems while i was there. i typed those up when we got back home. i think they are pretty good.

i will probably be on here in the morning tomorrow. i know i need to hit the bank and Rite Aid tomorrow. so, maybe it will be after that gets done.

 so, Drew Brees announced his retirement from the New Orleans Saints yesterday, 15 years to the day he signed with the team. he is easily the best quarterback in team history and in my opinion, one of the greatest of all-time.

i had to go out and do some things today. mom needed a few things and to have some pills picked up. i needed to go to the bank and make a deposit. and of course, it was raining the whole fucking time.

Manchester United won yesterday over West Ham 1-0. it should have been a much bigger score, but i guess the own goal from West Ham will have to do.

the finale of Allen v. Farrow was good last night.

so, much to my amazement, the Dayton Flyers made the NIT field last night. of course, once i saw the number of teams that declined, i quickly realized why Dayton was included. the school still thinks the NIT means something. sadly, most of the fan base does as well. they play Memphis on March 20th i believe.

as for the NCAA tournament, i think Gonzaga has the easiest route to the Final 4.

Dayton's old coach got fired from Indiana today. i'm a little surprised that Archie didn't do better there.

the New York Rangers play at home tonight against Philadelphia. hopefully, the boys find way to win tonight.

the Yankees won yesterday over the Blue Jays, 5-1. they defeated the Phillies today, 4-2.

i have no damn clue when i will be on here tomorrow.

i guess i did put out the grass seed at the right time today. now, if it actually does warm up the next few days, it might actually work.

when i was going to bed last night, i saw the reports of the horrific shootings in New Zealand. nothing shocks me anymore. be it mass shootings, sirens going off for a tornado, etc, etc. i sat there last night and watched what this fucking monster live streamed and i suppose that is the latest trend now. i haven't read the manifesto, though i imagine it's nothing but fucking drivel. appropriate the asshole would give a nod to the asshole that runs this country. i'll never quite understand why anyone would think hatred can be a solution.

i wasn't thrilled with who Manchester United drew in the Champions League draw today. probably the last team i wanted to play was Barcelona.

the New York Rangers play on the road tonight at Calgary. i doubt i watch much of the game.

the Dayton Flyers play tonight against Saint Louis in the A10 Tournament. VCU lost earlier today, they were the top seed, so the tournament is wide open now. i'm hoping Dayton comes out on fire tonight and that carries them through the rest of the weekend. they will need to win the tournament if they want to go to the NCAA tournament.

the New York Yankees whipped the Red Sox today, 14-1. i'd love to see a repeat of that in the regular season.

the grocery store today was kind of boring today. the weather has been rainy and gloomy all day. the tornado sirens did go off yesterday. i don't think there was a tornado anywhere nearby. that's why i don't really pay attention to them.

i will probably be on here in the morning tomorrow. if Dayton wins, i think they play tomorrow afternoon. i think right around the time that Manchester United plays in the FA Cup.
